Just out of interest how many houses/F&F did you give brochures to to get to that ammount?
Thanks
Territory is split into two - 150 houses which I've had since November with approx 45 customers, and 150 houses which I've had since June with approx 25 customers.
Customer base of 70 customers usually equates to 30-40 orders each time - values vary from £1 to £35. Occasionally get orders for £40 or more but VERY occasionally.
I dropped to my November 150 houses every campaign for 8 campaigns.
I am now recanvassing approximately 20 houses from those each campaign.
I drop my June 150 houses every campaign and will do until approx November time.
Will see how I feel in January and might get some more territory then. My aim is 100 customers!!

Found another reps books on my new territory last night, so called her and she just assumed she could drop on other roads around her allocated territory. Soon put her right. (!!!).
Really annoying thing was she was dropping C14 and I'd put my territory on back book so I was dropping C13 which makes me look like a bit of a muppet and means I've got to drop C15 next time when I'd rather prospect with the back book. Grr.
 no you don't. You just carry on the way you want to. It's your business and if anyone asks, just explain she is new and didn't realise she cannot put books anywhere, and she was putting out advance books.0 -
What do you do about people who left out the brochures, but didn't read them? Everybody who read one (whether they ordered or not) will be getting the next campaign, but I'm not sure what to do about the non-readers. Only a minority of people chose to tick my "do not wish to receive again" box, but then maybe the people who weren't interested at all didn't even look at the slip I put in. Next time I'll highlight that bit so people see it.
Yes it might just have been a busy few days for them and they didn't get chance to look at the book. Or they might be going away. Or they might just not need anything at the moment. Keep dropping to them until they say "not interested".
With your slips, I'd put them in the first 3 drops and then don't put them in any more. If they don't say "no" within the first 3 times, you've got to assume they are interested but didn't see anything which took their fancy.0 -

Yeah, good idea that - didn't think about saying she was putting out advance books.
I am going to say to anybody who comments that I will be their rep for the forseeable future, and hopefully my service with picking up on time will show I'm reliable.
One of my customers had mentioned last week that she had had a book from this other rep, at the time I didn't think much of it but last night I think I realised just how much of my new territory she had dropped to!! Hopefully I have been wonderful enough so far that my customers will stick with me.0 -
Right, I'm going to say something controversial now so brace yourselves. This is not necessarily going to be good news.
Did my Avon Connects online training last night, as my ASM wanted us to do it by Tuesday and I'm a good girl (sometimes ...).
I agree it is excellent for potential customers to find a rep - seems really straightforward for them. Put in your postcode, and a list of reps comes up which they pick from.
In a similar way, if you decide to stop doing Avon then your customer will get a message. They can either contact you via the website to see if you'll continue to service them, or they can get a new rep.
When you get your customers to go on and register, they can choose their rep from a list. So all well and good if they pick you. They might not though and there is nothing you can do.
They can also choose to change their rep and not tell you, you'll just get a message from the site.
Mmmmm, we all need to remain competitive methinks!! And reliable. Blimey, it all seems a bit dog eat dog now ... Will probably not tell any new customers about this until they know I'm reliable.0 -

the good thing is some of my customers don't have internet access, so won't be bothered by this.
Others seem happy enough with me, even had one drop a present for DS yesterday, quite apt timing as she didn't know he has arm in plaster, so it seemed fortunate timing.
I thought we could put our pic up on there? Maybe a bit of info about us?0 -
Yeah, the online training takes about 15 mins if you want to have a peek.
Unfortunately on a laptop screen the screenshots were a little bit small, but there is definitely room for a picture and name - hopefully contact details as well.
We are encouraged to upload a picture which promotes the professional image of Avon!!!!! No drunken & dancing on tables shots then girls ... !
Not sure when launch is, but it'll be over the next week or so I'd think. Once its been launched, as soon as we log into the reps site we'll be asked to put in some additional information which will create our reps profile on Avon Connects.0 -
Not had my email yet but todays offers are on the website if anybody wants a peek:

The vest is nearer a size 10 than a 12 and its quite short (I've already got one!!). Have ordered a clinical set also - if anybody has ordered the HT set you might want to delete and reorder this one as its cheaper ...0 -
Yes, I just logged into my account and doing the training. DS came over to listen and got bored... has gone off again.
LOL.
The thing is there is criteria to who will be able to have their details on the list. I hope everyone is made aware of this.0 -
Morning everyone,
Had a tooth extracted y'day (again!) & feeling a bit bruised but just wanted to say I always feel cheered up by you lovely lot.
Happy belated B'day Smattie!
Marsden C - have a great break- I'll miss you
Furby - well done, you had to work hard for that
Enjoy your day Avonettes everywhere.
XXX
Good with the bruising, JF, least you know that pain will ease at some point rather than get worse if you still had your problem tooth...
Thanks - not going for another week or so - flight is two days after my next delivery. How sad is that - to plan your holidays round your Avon campaigns? :rotfl:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
