I placed my order for C13 last night and tried to order 5 of the naturals Lavendar and Chamomile Shower Gels from the HT15, when I entered the code and put 5 in it showed up OK and stayed on the system right up to the end when I asked to see the total amount then it showed as one item and the cost, can you only order 1 item of each product from the HT brochures or am I doing something wrong.
On a positive note it is a gorgeous sunny day in Norfolk (totally different from yesterday).
Hi clarebear
you can only order 1 product from HT - ie if it is a demo product, if they are new shower gels, it will only allow you to order 1.
I remember managing to get away with ordering more than 1 item of something, think it was nail varnishes, because I ordered different colours.
But that is rare you can do that. The whole point of HT, the front bit, is that we order the items to demonstrate them to our customersand increase our sales.
You can order as much as you like from clearance at the back but you are not guaranteed that everything will be in stock.0 -
Hi,
Just finished my first campaign yesterday (well, placed the order anyway). I've been reading through this thread over the past few weeks and it's given me a great idea of what to expect from doing this.
:hello: I Geek, love the username
Sales were okay - at least I hit MOV and that's not including F+F, who will get targeted next campaign.
well done! you beat my first campaign of £0.
A few questions:
- I read on here that the Avon brochure bags have holes in them? I read on their website that they'd introduced sealed bags (like freezer bags)
they have got ziplocks, and they are bigger than the original bags, but for some reason have 3 holes punched at the top. The first time I saw it on one, thought my son had been playing with my hole punch.Think it is so the bag can breathe? But I use my own, I bought them from ebay, a huge box that has lasted a year, they are plain and Avon book sized, Elliebee recommended this company. I reuse my bags, unless they are badly damaged by rain or slugs, and then replace with a new one.
- What do you do about people who left out the brochures, but didn't read them? Everybody who read one (whether they ordered or not) will be getting the next campaign, but I'm not sure what to do about the non-readers.
Don't worry about them! Keep giving them a book. It might be they want a book, but just aren't looking at it at the moment. I have some that never tick the box, never seem to eve open it, and then all of a sudden you get an order from them. Also with the xmas one coming up, they might be more interested
- Territory gripes - The thing is, on the streets that were already covered, people read the books. Maybe they didn't look at the rep's name and thought it was their usual one. Plus when I knocked at a door on one of those streets the person looked as if they hadn't an an Avon for a while. The original rep might have given up on them/thought they didn't want it anymore.
this is a difficult one. Speak to your upliner and ask them to speak to the rep who's road it is. And find out if they are actually canvassing it and if not, if you can have the houses they do not actually get orders from. Possibly it is F&F they only do on that road, and you could have the rest of it.0 -

Sunny but blowy down in Sussex. Just added one of the Anew Clinical packs to my order - will either give to good customer or split up for Christmas. Hello Kitty make up kit showing as low stock as is the apple and honeysuckle shower gel. Glad to see no red crosses. Six customers to go back to for books (lettered as not left out yesterday) then my C14 is all done. Sales very similar to C13 with two more Fergies and another Lotus Shield (last of the promo ones although I returned most).
Am really excited cos I've got 7 ex battery rescue hens coming to join me on saturday and MIL is taking the kids off my hands for a few days tomorrow. Gonna be a good week. Have a great day everyone. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

The brochure bags I've had more recently haven't got the holes in them any more! So they are fab, just need to get people to realise now that you have to fold the order form over so it fits in the bag. Grr.
£322.22 so far for C14 and some customers still to pick up from tonight.
Found another reps books on my new territory last night, so called her and she just assumed she could drop on other roads around her allocated territory. Soon put her right. (!!!).
Really annoying thing was she was dropping C14 and I'd put my territory on back book so I was dropping C13 which makes me look like a bit of a muppet and means I've got to drop C15 next time when I'd rather prospect with the back book. Grr.0 -

Well done! :T:TA few questions:
- I read on here that the Avon brochure bags have holes in them? I read on their website that they'd introduced sealed bags (like freezer bags) at the reps' request, but surely punching holes in them defeats the point of doing that? I haven't ordered any this time and will stick to freezer bags for now since I can get a few uses out of them. I've only had to throw out a few soggy brochures and any other wet ones were left to dry out.
I ordered the brochure bags and have been using them for the last 2 campaigns, they're fine - no holes at all in mine  I must admit, they're a bit on the small side, could do with being a bit taller!- What do you do about people who left out the brochures, but didn't read them? Everybody who read one (whether they ordered or not) will be getting the next campaign, but I'm not sure what to do about the non-readers. Only a minority of people chose to tick my "do not wish to receive again" box, but then maybe the people who weren't interested at all didn't even look at the slip I put in. Next time I'll highlight that bit so people see it.
Maybe these people have been busy and not had a chance to look this campaign? Lots of people have been away, they may have just got back in time to put the brochure out? Maybe they looked and carefully put the brochure back? If they've left the book outside then they must have read your slip to know which date, if you had to knock for the brochure then you could always ask if they'd like to look at the next brochure?0 -

Ref eyeliners, I have been having a 'mare.
Been using glimmersticks eyeliners (not diamonds) for a while now (converted from clinique) along with astonishing lengths mascara. Recently though I've been getting the same problem as I used to have - by lunchtime so much of my eyeliner / mascara has fallen I look a bit like alice cooper (well, I've got lines of black in the creases under my eyes).
Can't be doing with re-doing all my make up at lunchtime, just want something which lasts the day - is that so difficult?!!
I have ordered some perfect wear to try, wondering whether to try supershock gel eyeliners???? Anybody any similar experiences?
As with mascara, again have ordered Perfect wear to try. Liked Spectralash but it seemed to dry out really quickly. Again, anybody any similar experiences or successes?
Cheers for reading x0
