Colonic Hydrotherapy

Try and find a practice that uses Lebbe (sp?) beds - absolutely brilliant, and none of the after effects some of you have had!
NB - I had a lovely long post with pictures & all & it vanished when I tried to post - can't type it all out again! LOL!
Is your 'remember me' box ticked? If you don't post for a few mins then it will think you're not around!!

I'm errr... embarrassingly curious also! Had never really thought about it before, but desperate to lose weight, and £95 for 7lbs off seems very reasonably priced to me!!!0

:rotfl:I thought so too!!
But there are other reason's I want one!!
It's not really £95.00 - that's what I seen it priced at for a clinic in London!
I can't find a clinic close so I'm going to end up paying alot of money but I've always wanted one...I'm hoping it'll be worth it!Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

I'd love to have a colonic but i've always been a bit afraid to be honest, I can't afford it at the moment but do feel very attracted to the 'clean on the inside' feeling that has been described. Can I ask how long it takes for your *cough* "movements" to return to normal afterwards?*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150

I've just found a clinic just 30mins away :j :j :j (bit strange considering it's actually a nail bar)
It says on the blurb that you might not pass a movement for a day or 2 afterwards.Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

i had one a few years ago and keep meaning to go back, but money is tight
i suffered really badly with IBS at the time and the woman was horrified at the amount of air that was coming out in the water, she was amazed i could stand up with the stomach pain! it really did help me
strange sensation but not unpleasant, and i will do it again

Once you have been to the loo in the clinic you are pretty much Ok after that providing you take your time. You might have to go again when you get home but you pretty much go back to normal straight away (although my regularity was never normal anyway so it will be different for everyone.
When you get these they tell you to try and train your bowel so that you are going regularly (I wasnt). E.g I was told to sit on the toilet for at least 10 minutes in the morning to get my bowels used to moving at a regular time each day.:smileyhea0 -
I read this thread yesterday, and last night gave myself one in my own bathroom. I took plenty of time and lay in the bath to do so.
Very MSE I would say
- only cost a tank of hot water. An 'interesting experiment'... I think I may do this weekly.
Is there any reason not to diy?0 -
wow good for you, I'd rather leave it to someone else to deal with that but very economical!0

Well done!!
If you don't mind going into detail, could you please tell me how you done it?
