    Today was a NSD.
Got a promotion at work today, along with a £4,500 payrise - woohoo!!!
    Good day.

well today i didnt go out at all, wasnt feeling up to it so i got my 7th NSD so im over half way through :j:j

on a downer because i automatically called out for misty chicken then promptly broke down :(:(:(

Oh Webitha, it is so hard to get used to them not being around. I still think I hear my doggie Zak in the kitchen sometimes. My Mum and I have a silly little thing that helps us though (although we are a lot further down the road than you I know) Zak always used to get all our scraps and in his eagerness to get whatever bit of cheese / toast / meat he would sometimes snap it instead of taking it gently. So Mum and I call our little kitchen composting bin Zak and whenever we give it things it makes us smile because we can pretend it is Zak, as the lid snaps just like he used to :o

I know I sound absolutely mental now, don't I?? I expect to be asked to leave the NSD thread soon....ah yes, someone's just coming to escort me from the premises now!
No NSD to report today, tried really hard but is the 3 year anniversary of my best friends death, so coped by by smoking 10 cigs (currently a reformed smoker & they didn't help by the way) & popping to the local for a drink, which just made me show myself up by sobbing in public, think i need a better plan for next year!!!!
But i guess at least she made herself known by taking my mind off the DIY for a day, god bless her.
Am hoping another cry & some sleep will put me back on track for tomorrow, & that i get a better coping strategy for next year...
RIP Karol, i miss u soooooo much xxx

Oh BDINI, I don't know what to say. I hope you are having a better day today though.

    Big hug

Can anyone join in? I fancy a go at these NSD's. Could I sign on for one for tomorrow just to see? I might make a bit bigger commitment after that, I don't know yet.

I can't do today because I need to make my debt repayments today, I have already spent £9.36 at Amazon this morning, oh and I am frankly dying for a bar of Cadburys caramel... They sort of get less justifiable as you go along, did you notice? :o

Tomorrow though, I promise I will be good tomorrow, is that acceptable? :o

    Hi Hanah
Yes, of course you can join in - anyone's welcome, though a sense of humour does help as we can get a bit silly at times;)

I'll add your name to the front page when I do the update a bit later today but in the meantime, welcome to the NSD challenge.

If you decide after tomorrow that you want to have a try at more, have a think about the number you want to go for and I'll add that as your target. If you make your target you get a "prize" - have a look at the first post to see what they are.

Look forward to seeing your progress

    Morning all

O gosh I am so sorry so many people are having a rubbish time!! Will just send out lots of hugs for you all. Ah some lovely poems too!

Yesterday was NSD #6 so I am really pleased with myself.

Today is spend day as I have minxy moo with me (jack russel under my chair - lead tied to said chair - tennis ball in bits - yellow fluff surrounding my desk - o and this is the poor little sickly dog who needs a trip to the vets!!!!!!! Hmmmmmmmmm) So it will cost me about £6 at the vets - she is only seeing the nurse, then I am going to get my shopping and top up with diesel - do all the spends in one day so I can have another NSD on Wednesday.

On a plus note I got on my wii last night (first time in 22 days it informed me) and I had acutally gone down a 1lb since last time I was on there...... so that wasn't quite as bad as i thought as I thought I would be up 2 or 3 lbs.

I'm going to see if my friend has her camera here to take a photo of the mess under my desk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    xx

Day 4 fail. Bought wine chocolate and pizza. Yes today has been that bad.
NO! You didn't!!!!! You just didn't reach the finish line in time.....we don't do 'F' word here ban.gif

Good news..I've finally found a corded phone for less than eight quid, to keep for power cuts, thunderstorms, etc.
Bad news..it meant a spendy yesterday. AND I'm replenishing supplies today so, barring the time spent driving, I'm keeping everything X for increasing my little total tomorrow.

Webitha, hope you're doing ok x

    Hi everyone,

It was NSD 5 yesterday. Today could be 6, I was planning on food shopping today but DD1 has been sent home from school poorly. She's got a high temp and feeling achey all over, bless her, she cried her eyes out as soon as she saw me get to the school. Anyway she is tucked up in bed now so I'll be staying at home today. The rest of the week will be SD now as it'll be food shopping at some point tomorrow, it's DD2's birthday on Thursday so we'll be taking her out in the a.m. and Friday we're going to MK (providing DD1 is not poorly)

Thank you for all the kind words, Lol (feels to formal to keep saying step-dad) is doing great. They are starting to talk about when he may be coming home. No dates yet but things are looking really good.

Hugs to all who need them and thank you for all your hard work Spoon :A
