well good morning folks, still attending to Hubert's rear end, he just gets an upset tummy really easily and the Tardis makes him queasy.
I have recovered, my frills are all bent and a bit grubby. but nothing a good wash won't cure, can't say the same for the carpets in the Tardis though.........
anybody seen BigMumma or has she waltzed off with that wee wrinkly man???

Well, meal planning done for this week. Today is sausages with cauliflower cheese gratin and strawberries to follow. Tomorrow I will take that solitary chicken breast out of the freezer and do a chicken Caesar salad. Wednesday will be pasta bolognese with garlic baguettes. Thursday minced beef and onion pie. Friday fish, fishcakes and chips. Saturday something salady. Sunday roast gammon joint. And apart from whatever I do Saturday, I have everything in the fridge or freezer for all meals and enough milk for the next 3 or 4 days. How MSE is that! One life - your life - live it!0

Nargle, any chance you could pop up here and do all that for me please?!Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0

OOOOOOOOO me 'ed Who was it that put the grappa in the Pimms?
Somehow I need to get my backside into gear and go to the post office to post some forms that the credit card company have managed to lose. Plus I need some tea. Amazing how much faster it goes with 2 in the house.
I'd forgotten to budget for the car tax and the ground rent this month, grrr so my budget does not look as dooable as I thought. So I'm going to have to take a couple of hundred out of the rainy day fund and put it back next month. Oh boy do I hate doing that.
Jinty, keep knitting, it's what I'm doing too. That and baking fat free, sugar free muffins.
PDiddy I hope Hubert is feeling better, last time I saw him he was trying to rescue Polly from the Dalek... I do hope she doesn't have babies...
Right, time for tea and getting my !!! into gear. Have a good day all0 -
Hi NSD gang
So sorry I missed the outing yesterday. My broomstick took a wrong turning and I ended up crashing into a lovely mans back garden. Well what with having to make repairs and flirt outragously with him I got back v late last night...
Glad you all had a lovely time, hope the hangovers aren't too bad!

Hope you all had a fab day at Wombledon and not too hungover - glad the hamper found it's way to you.
I am trying my best for NSD no 3......
My breakfast and lunch I have brought in from home. I am out tonight at a charity do - ticket paid for by boss and cabs will be paid for by work - so unless I have to buy drinks when I am there - it "could" be no 3 for me.
xxxxxx
PS if anyone likes blues - feel free to tag along to the charity night - I'll ask my boss to leave a few tickets on the door for youThe worst cliques are those which consist of one man ~ George Bernard Shaw

Nargle - that all sounds yummy, why is it when someone else posts their meal plan it always sounds MUCH better than the one I was thinking of!!
Here's mine:
M - quiche, salad, HM coleslaw, HM potato salad
Tu - Southern Fried chicken, pittas and salad
Wed - chilli pasta bake, crusty bread
Thurs - Fish fingers, chips veg/salad
Friday - Mince beef pie, tatties and veg
Sat - going to beach if nice weather, so fish n chips on way home( in place of weekly takeaway)
pudding will be either ice cream , ice lolly or apple strudel
Keiss & Herby - have a great holiday! Herby dont feel guilty about your hols - just enjoy the fruits of your savings!:)
I'm just back from the shops, didnt spend too much - £7.24 groceries, £1.50 SP flowers from A$DA (treat), 81p postage, 99p 100g ball of DK wool. So £10.54 - not too bad! Also got two brand new titles by two of my favourites authors from our terrific library - honestly - you request the books and they have them in no time for you. Its like Amazon but without the money!;)
Have a great day all!:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0
