NSD 3 for me . I think you twiddle the thingummy and poke the doodah at the same time and rub 2 boy scouts together to land it, and if that doesnt work we,ll end up in 2300s and be really really old

I'm turning in very soon as well..... just got to find my appt card for tomorrow morning first (appt with nurse for 'that' 3-yearly test/check  )

Want to get out for my run first - which also means I need time to shower when I get back & before I have to go out.... can see me being up at 5:30am (as is normal on a working Monday) even though I'm on leave this week :o May stretch it to 6am, but any later and I'll be pushing to get ready in time!!!

Haven't got as much done at home as I'd have liked today (am blaming the NSD day out), but the heavy oak units - including the one that was in the hallway - are now where I want them with the electrical eqpt wired back up/tuned it (TV, freeview/DVD and stereo), clean covers are on the 3-seater settee and the next patch of carpet has been washed (3 times, and needs doing again it's that bad as it's the really high traffic section!). I've also cleaned the living room light shades and taken down (and washed) the curtains. Forecast for tomorrow is "Sunny intervals, with light rain shower forecast for 13:00", so I might risk hanging the curtains outside before I go for my run/to the doctors in the hope they dry. Once they're dried and back at the window I want to take down the blinds and wash them (not something I've tried before - though I was assured when they were fitted they can be put in the washer - so that could be fun rolleyes2.gif).

Window and window sill also needs cleaning, then I want to move everything that's been dumped in the last corner of the room out (and over to where I've cleaned for now) so I can clean there - and also get the two couches swapped over to where I want them. Hoping I can find some picture hooks somewhere (know I have some) as I also have a print and a mirror to get up...... then it's out with drill and screws to get a new stairgate across the outside of the living room doorway (necessary with the dog, but the current 'adjust to fit' one isn't too secure or safe anymore and I can't close the door with it in place as it fits in the frame)

After the blinds are done and dry I need to find a good drying day to do the covers on the 2-seater settee - then hopefully that will be my living room done and dusted (literally :D).... Just need to be sure to stay on top of it now

While clearing off the unit that was in the hall I found no less than 19 charity collection bags - so doesn't look like I'll have to use my 'paid for' bin bags while I'm dejunking the rest of the house, especially as I'd already found 7 in my living room. I also found several pair of my footwear (in the cupboard at the bottom of it) - plus one odd shoe, the partner to which I'd found lurking in a corner of the living room yesterday unknown.gif

Have realised that now I've moved that unit I need some hooks putting up on the wall tucked away from the door, as we kept 'emergency exit' keys in a tub on the unit and I no longer have anywhere for this. Also want to put up some coat hooks (instead of using the bottom of the bannister), and think I need a shoe rack of some sort (though it will need to be a cupboard type one so the dog doesn't get tempted ;))

Cheryl, you're making me tired reading that... when you've finished your house, you can come and do mine if you need an extra job:D:D

    No thanks :rotfl:

It's only taken my 8 years to get a proper start on mine...... and it's been getting steadily worse (rather than better) for the last 4
