It's only taken my 8 years to get a proper start on mine...... and it's been getting steadily worse (rather than better) for the last 4

    Hi lovely NSD gang:A
Hope everyone’s had a good Sunday. Our “outing” to Wimbledon went really well, we ended up taking a detour to the US to help them celebrate 4 July but somehow we ended up at the Battle of the Little Big Horn with elfen being married off to an Indian Chief. Got ourselves back in the right century eventually and enjoyed some steak and beer before the Tardis brought us all back safely.
Sorry to anyone who dropped in in the middle of our nonsense - we have these outings from time to time, everyone’s welcome to join in, you just need a good imagination:cool::cool::cool:

Well done for NSD no 1:
:jBDINI: wow, busy few days for you and what a lovely dad you’ve got. Sounds as though it’s definitely necessary spending, you need walls and radiators.
No cheating involved there, you can only spend the money once and it’s out of your account now;)...
:jAngyles: great start to the month for you, shame about the petrol today, I’ve got to do the same tomorrow:( Keep going, you’re doing brilliantly:)
:janonymoose: off the starting blocks now, that’s brilliant:)
:jboultdj: up and running now definitely, that’s fantastic:)
:jNottoobadyet: yay, well done for getting up and running on 4 July - good omen for the rest of the month for you!:)
:jFirewalker: well done, up and running now, that’s brilliant!:)
:jfi76: off the starting blocks now, forgive the pun after the 10K race today.
Not surprised you were knackered earlier, hope you get some rest tonight:)
:jrachelmk: well done, up and running now, that’s brilliant:)

Well done for NSD no 2:
    :jmoneypenny2k: brilliant, you’re doing great.
I have to say though, that you are fantastic for giving up your spare room to your friend, that must be quite an upheaval after living on your own for 10 years and difficult to adjust to. :T Guess you’re glad of a weekend to yourself again. Hope things work out OK for you.
Grrr to your knee, what a pain (literally). Good luck with the job application, hope you get an interview, it would do your morale a power of good.:)
    Ahh, thanks, I’ll try:o
:jpure dead dopey: yay, no 2 - that’s brilliant.
Hope Hubert’s OK after the mixture he consumed today, did you manage to get the aliens out from the back of the Tardis, they seemed quite at home there;)
:jelfen: you’re doing brilliantly, great start to the month
Had a great time in the Tardis today - thanks for lending it to us!:T
:jLooloo: great start to the month for you, that’s brilliant!
Thanks for the hamper, it was lovely, the fizz went down very well!:T
:jBigMumma: you’re doing great, that’s brilliant!
You seem to have become best friends with Ronnie Wood today - any chance of some free tickets to the next Stones gig?;)
:jKayleighpea: well done, great start to the month for you. Like the profit from the mystery shopping, brilliant:T
:jSurfbabe: brilliant start to the month for you, that’s great. :)
:jmz_grim: well done for getting to no 2 in the week after payday - that’s brilliant:T
:jifwishes: yay, well done you, you’re getting the hand of this NSD lark now, brilliant!:T
Oooh Jason Button, think he’s got a friend called Lois something:rotfl:
:jGeorgieFTB: brilliant start for you as well, yay!!! It’s not scary at all really, keep coming back here and we’ll give you loads of encouragement, as well as a few laughs hopefully;)

Well done for NSD no 3:
:jteenyweenyspender: brilliant, great start to the month for you:)
:jchris81418: ooh, you were on centre court a bit early for most of us, think you may have enjoyed rather too much Pimms, I’m sure I saw you pole dancing on top of Henman Hill:rotfl:
Well done for no 3 - that’s brilliant!
:jTMVen: yay, great start to the month for you, that’s fantastic!:)
:jcw18: brilliant start to the month for you. I love the free days out as well, never know where you’ll end up!;)
:jmrsinvisible: great start to the month for you, that’s fantastic:)

Well done for NSD no 4:
:jkatholicos: wow, 4 out of 4 for you, that’s brilliant, what a great start to the month:T Hope you had a good Sunday

    And hello to everyone else:
Soma: fingers crossed for today, hope you make no 1:)
kathy40uk: grrrr to bindweed, it’s a real pain:(, good luck with sorting it out:)
Glad you got some gardening gloves, trying to get that stuff off brambles is not funny:(

Oh and NSD no 3 for me today:j, free day out courtesy of elfen and the Tardis

Off to do the usual update now, see you all tomorrow.

    Hola Hola -
Whatsup? Woke up this morning under the seats at Wimbledon with my white headband over my eyes and my frilly knicks in my handbag. Somehow my white shorts and t shirt look like the"
" before" shot in the Ariel advert - many dubious stains.
Seem to have missed the trip to NY - someone has spiked my Pimms. Did Big Mumma manage to get Ronnie Wood to pay off all our debt? Or did they just entertain the crowd to a impromptu rendition of Honky Tonk Woman? Am I still dwunk?;)

The good new is I can report 2 NSD'S - I have decided not to count the tyres on Sat as we didnt have to use our money as we sold the tiles, and yesterday I didnt go near a shop.
Today have a few little errands to do - some groceries, post office, libary and wool! Have finished my baby cardigan, just needs sewing up, so Im going to get some wool and do some more hats for the charity collection. Stops me eating! (Just)

    Have a lovely day everyone!:)

Good morning everyone, no NSD yet for me I'm afraid, but there are one or two on the horizon for this week. I have worked out that there are 17 potential NSDs in July (I am very strict in that I count days that direct debits come out of my account as spending days) so it is doable.....well, the Wimblebimbledon thingy and the 4th of July wotsit went as you would expect it, so what is next on our agenda?

Cor you lot are scary, they're thinking of cancelling Independance Day next year in case you make a return visit! Sorry I missed the trip, when you said Wombledon.... Chompy and I were waiting for hours and hours on Wombledon Common (we're not sporting people you see!) we had drinks and nibbles and a picnic blanket. I couldn't get a ruddy internet connection to check where you all were and then I realised that I was trying to connect to the net with a Speak n Spell that Chompy had substituted for my laptop for his amusement (seeing me try to connect to the internet in the dark on an orange plastic thing is highly amusing apparently! He doesn't get out often!), I almost got arrested for kicking it and shaking it up and down yelling it worked for flecking ET!!!

I think we saw 3Dogs flying above us at this point clinging on to a blue flashy thing but the wheeewahhh whhheee wahhhh was so loud she couldn't hear us yelling for a lift. So we went home and missed all the fun, Chompy sniggered all the way back that I was herby no mates, charming! Ahhh well least I got 2 more NSD's so all wasn't lost Spoon, (Fri & Sat) total now 5 and hoping that today will be one to.

Have a lovely holiday Keiss, looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back, although I'll be a bit behind as I think we go away just as you come back, we're off a week on Friday. I feel bad for feeling so excited about my hols, when some peeps can't afford them, but this is the second time DH and I have been away together since we got together and we've saved really hard for it.

Welcome to all the newbies, the [STRIKE]nutters[/STRIKE] helpful and encouraging people on here will really help you get a grip on your spending, make sure you post often, that's the best way to keep on track.
