Reporting another NSD think that makes 8 now. Tomorrow I have to spend a whole £1 on kids club making it a low spend. With the holidays it may be very difficult getting many if any NSD in at all.

Edit August will be difficult not July. I WILL make this months target.

Fanfare of trumpets, roll out the red carpet , get the paparazzi round to my place sharpish - I have an important announcement to make.

Today the dancing puddy tat is mine - I hit my target - ten NSDs for July!!!!!!!! Yes I know it's small beer compared with some of you who are on 15s and 20s etc but for me it's a little victory, and I might squeeze in another before month end! Lookin' gooood......

What/who/where is B & M please? I've seen a few people mention this but I don't know what it is :(. I feel I'm missing out on another place to spend my hard earned pennies.:o..........but then again it may be better if there isn't one around this area ;)

DH went shopping for me today as we had neice round and he wanted to get out of the house! I've now paid him for it (the shopping that is, not for going out of the house)(online banking is great!) and printer has been ordered. Found the cheapest price for what I want, free delivery and cashback too :T. Only problem is the ink cartridges all seem to be mega expensive now .

Have found a few cheap(er) online sites but I hope the cartridges last a few months at least. One bonus is the Chairman of the Community Centre I am (voluntary) Secretary for has said they will pay 25% of the cost of the printer as I print so much stuff for them :T:T. I also get an allowance for the ink cartridges :T:T. Has anyone any recommendations for cheap cartridges? I'm not bothered if they're recycled or new. Have been buying my current ones from Mr T's but don't know if they do these new separate colour ones.

    TIA.

    Hi Ladyfrom Venice,

Here is a link to the B & M website. You should be able to use find a store nearby where you live if there is one. Click this link. B & M sell everything from homewares to food and quite often at lower prices than other stores. Hope this helps!

If you know that there are certain small spends you need to make you could always put that money away at the beginning of the month/week. The money is then already accounted for and you wouldn't have to give up an NSD for small amounts. I do this with karate each month. If I run over the amount I've put away then it becomes a spend day.

is Mr Candyapple's favourite refuge, its a bit like Wilkinsons but you just never know what you'll find there, I always spend way too much on absolute tat in there :D Last time I was there I just couldn't leave the shop without purchasing an alarm clock shaped like an apple, a mug with a cow on it and a pig egg-timer :rotfl:

Thanks very much. I've had a look and the nearest to me is Grantham and that's three hours away! We have the same sort of thing, QD Stores/Cherry Lane Garden Centres. Lots of tat and I can never go in and come out empty handed:o

My pennies are safe for another day..............

    Hello NSDers

Happy birthday Boultdj, have a fab day.

Reporting NSD 22 please Spoon, (which was yesterday)

I'm a little miserable:( because of how I ruined my NSD today, I would have been 1 day away from getting JD *sob sob*

On my lunch break, at work, I decided to go out for a walk, leaving my cards as i now do to avoid temptation - on my way out a work colleague asked if i was passing by w4itros3, and if was, to grab a few things if I don't mind, so she handed me the cash (from petty cash) and a little list.

Done the shopping, came back, and realised I was missing a fiver from the change:mad:, I'm hundred percent certain the assistant gave me the fiver and a few coins in change. So I must have dropped it somewhere. I had to re-imburse it, (i secretly hoped she would say don't worry about it, it's only a fiver:D), (nsd rescued) but hell no, she didn't.

Now I will see what else I need and make the best of the ruined nsd.

Well done all and let's keep going.....

Unfortunately spent money today, although only a little. Will spend money tomorrow as out for dinner, although only to a Weatherspoons. All my items run out on ebay tonight though so at least I'm covering it!
Finally, debt free for the first time since I was 18!:D
