    Thank you everyone!!!!

You lot are fantastic, thank you for all the good wishes! It was indeed an NSD - colleagues bought me drinks after work and OH bought me dinner. I got lots of hugs and warm wishes and it was a lovely birthday - and we haven't even gotten to the party on Saturday!

Today wont be a NSD as I need to get a few things (vacuum bags, etc), but I'm well on the way to hitting my target.

Thanks again, everyone! Apologies once again for my youth :p

    Good morning all!

Have been a very busy Jinty this morning - have made the florentines Jo Rourke - they're cooling in the tray as I type. They smell and look delish. Thanks for the recipe - it's a winner!:T
Have also made a naughty chocolate cake and I just need to ice it later. Its the easiest recipe - comes out really moist and light. Planning to take some of the baked goodies to Mum and Dad's later for a cuppa!
Also got my bed changed and a load of washing on - hopefully will dodge the rain today!:)
I'm trying to have an NSD today, not planning to go anywhere today that involves money.
My lovely Mum bought me the buttons for the cardi yesterday so I'll get them sewn on and that will be it done! Yes, I'll do my best to post a pic Spoon !
Nargleblast - the man from Ringtons phoned me yesterday - he's coming next Thursday - I'm very excited - thanks so much for mentioning them in your posts. He asked me how I'd heard of Ringtons - I said friend from another area recommended them - hope you dont mind!:T

Mr & Mrs Skaps - warm wishes for a long and happy marriage - hope you have a lovely day.

3 dogs - have a wonderful time on your hols - hope you enjoy your brief spell in here in Edinburgh - looking forward to hearing all about your trip:j

BDINI - thanks for posting the poem - I love that one - maybe purple hair should be a must for all NSD'RS over a certain age? Then we would recognise each other!:rotfl:

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

    Hi everyone
Purple is definitely THE colour for NSD-ers over a certain age (or indeed of any age, we're not discriminatory).

Hope everyone is having a good day (jinty, loving the baking smells, any chance of a Florentine to bridge the gap between breakfast and lunch:D:D:D)

Will update your total when I do the update later - in the meantime, double figures is definitely good:j
