)...got a delivery of dough improver before we went on holiday, so now my multi-seeded wholemeal bread rises beautifully!! I was really good too, using up all my older bread flour, rather than breaking into the large bags of organic white and wholemeal flour I got along with the dough improver...give me a week or two and I'll be there though! Got the flour etc here.
Right, must get the beetroot cooking and maybe make some hobnobs before tea, then it's HFW's chocolate and beetroot brownies (soooo scrummy!!)....now that does disappear fast...must freeze some so DS1 will get some next week when he gets back from his GF's.
Funny how I don't feel very hungry when I do all this baking, but can't be baking every day...too much temptation in the munchie-moments!

I'm hoping today will be another NSD, as its my birthday maybe everyone will just buy me things :A
Where has the year gone?? I feel like I just did the last birthday...
Oh happy birthday, I hope they do buy for you all day. You reminded me of my elderly auntie who well into her 80s and wheelchair bound and deaf as a doorpost used to tap her head and say very loudly, I'm 18 in here you know girl, 18 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Now in my 50s I know what she means - in forums that I've only just joined in the past couple of years my name is Antique Teenager...0 -
Well done moneypenny on the size 16 jeans...I can only dream!
Happy birthday Nottoobadyet :bdaycake: cor 23....my DS1 is 21 this year  That and turning 50 in November is making me feel really old!!
If it makes you feel any better Keiss I was 51 last month and my son is coming up towards 32... My 'baby' is 26 and I have 2 grandkids. On the plus side, they've all left home and I can live my life now and I have every intention of growing older disgracefully:cool::cool::cool:0 -
cor 23....my DS1 is 21 this year
When people starting talking about ages of children, then I always end up feeling old
My DD turns 27 before year end !!! And she has my GD1 (7 next month) and GD2 (5 earlier this year)
DS1 was 21 in March, and DS2 was 19 last week.....
I have friends who are only a few years younger than me, and whose children are still at primary school :eek:Cheryl0
