Hiya, I love the fact you've all been making pom poms
Yesterday I knitted a yellow flower broach, a christmas cracker and a snowman. The cracker is hillarious, the 'santa red' is actually a lurid flourescent pink. I love it. And the Aussie has agreed we can get a uber-tacky white christmas tree to put them on, it's warmed the cockles of even my scrougish heart.
I got dressed today (ish):
Warm Mary jeans (they are amazing jeans, they have plaid 'pyjama' bottoms lining) (Howies)
Grey marl t shirt (accession)
over a white star print cami (uniqlo)
and a vintage white crochet shrug (oxfam)
Have a great day x:beer:0 -
Still in tracksuit. Actually in second tracksuit, been rained on twice and have to bath stinky rolling dog. I think its a tracksuit day actually: I'm not seeing anyone.0

I built up my MAC collection the way you did, plus having things for Christmas and Birthdays
I'm going to check this out :j. Although, I'm a sucker for hype an packaging so i'll probably end up with both (:( for my bank balance) I dont think its a limited edition collection though so thats good.Make £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£3100 -
Char - I'm not so keen on the first pair (don't like the freaky doll/baby designs!) but the second pair are fab. But on a sensible note, just get the lovely yellow ones you really wanted and add everything else to the wish list.
Douglas - what a palaver with the taxis! Hope they've got away ok - seems like another round of flight delays are hitting at the moment.
Rainy, are you going to blog the results? Would love to see them! I'm hoping to get the necklace off finished tonight. Love the sound of those jeans as well0 -
UGH, GREAT - rain, lots of it, just in time for venturing into town at lunch for MS assignment ;(
yes alex, i've just ordered the ones i've liked for months, as my wish-list purchase for the month, and have saved the others to wish list0 -

I don't know yet if they got away OK or not but the carry on of the morning didn't stop there as I posted elsewhere.
I was leaving the car park at my flats this morning and a car was stopped and empty blocking the exit with lights on and engine running - a private hire car was next to it also with lights on and facing the wall next to the exit.
A couple of minutes after I pulled up behind it along with another driver in her car behind me. A vision in a short kimono leapt out of the passenger seat of the taxi and drove off in the car, unfortunately for me it was a twink guy, I can only presume they were having a homosexual liason and got carried away.

Oh Douglas, what a sight for that time in the morning!
I'm feeling throughly crafty at the moment. Making plans with mum for a weekend in Harrogate for the knitting and crafting fair in November where I plan on buying a stupid amount of beaded bauble kits - it's about the one crafty thing I actually do well!0 -
Thanks for the welcomes
and boy you lot can talk, I love it
Today I am fashioning M&S PJs as I am off work ill and have been all week. Normal service (whatever that is) will be resumed ASAP. I wanted to go out and see my horses, but have been banned from the yard with my germs. Pah.I'm feeling throughly crafty at the moment. I looove crafting, well jewellery making and cardmaking to be precise, I am not especially good at either, but I enjoy playingOff to google Beaded Baubles now as I have no idea what they are, but they sound fab!

Have a look on the Spellbound Beads website - they're just about to release a new book on them. There are loads of designs. I haven't done this particular one but it's an example of what they look like:0
