This pom-pom malarkey is fun! 4 down, a few more to go....
  • Well, my phone is knackered. The screen is a weird camoflage colour/effect and the speaker doesn't work (kids eh?). My other half has taken a contract out though so I can get the phone and he'll use the sim :j. So a nice, shiny sony ericcson w995 (same as my old one) is coming to me on Thursday. Need to get it unlocked though :(

So the cash that I was going to spend on a new phone might just be heading towards a certain MAC counter .. :rotfl:
    Make £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£310
  • Oh well, Mia, at least you have a phone to replace it :)

Hope the pom poms turned out well, alex! I think i will go to the knitting class this eve..it's not til 7 so i think i can get home first and try to plan something to take with me at least..

    Outfit today:
black 50s style dress with white polka dots, matalan £18
teal long weird shrug / cardi thing, £3 matalan sale
cream rose ring, topshop £6 ish?
black / white polka dot irregular choice heels, present from sis. :)
  • Cant waitto see the necklace Alex.

have fun tonight at knitting group. I think I will go to one as soon as I can. I'm making a moss stitch scarf at the moment and it's taking ages.

I'm in scruffs at the mo as got loadsto organise for working this evening and tonight. Also way behind on paperwork.

    Indigo tights: Ethel Austin
Black cut out heels with gold zip: Matalan

    Morning all!

How odd, I was pompom making in front of Spooks on monday night, miss a day on here and it turns out you're all at it too.

It's a hideous day here. We are awaiting repairs on the roof but the poor roofers haven't been able to get any work done yet as it's been too windy, wet and slippery every day since last thursday.

I'm cracking on with eBay today as I had a day off yesterday.

    Today's outfit:

Vintage checked hotpants (Sent by a lovely 13year-old blog reader)
    Grey vest (Topshop, 2000)
    Vintage fur gilet (Scope)
Grey opaque tights (Kid's ones, off the market)
Black leather platform ankle boots (Miss Selfridge sale last year)
    Silver rings and bracelets (India)
Beaded and tasseled earings (Auroville ashram, Pondicherry)
    Vintage pendant (Salvation Army)

    Catch you all later.
    xxx

I'm so annoyed. The idiot has only gone and spent a heap of money on motorbike parts..again.
So much for being so stuck with money. I dont know why i bother trying to offer advice.
    Sorry for the rant!

Ach, you've got to cut the strings at some point and just let him deal with it by himself. If you keep trying to bail him out then he's never going to learn :(

    Outfit is:

    Skinny jeans - DP
Green vest with lacy neckline - Zara, via Queenie (has anyone heard from her recently btw?)
Oversized cream old lady cardi - car boot sale
Irregular Choice cream and green polka dot "Jump In Puddles" boots - via ebay for a ridiculously cheap price, probably because they're totally in your face :D
  • Ditto what Alex said :)

The house smells amazing. I made one tray of double chocolate brownies and one tray of white chocolate ones.
Mum's colleague should love me forever!
