Hi everyone,
Do you mind if I join you? I have been a lurker on MSE (including this thread) recently as I forgot my log in details, but now I have found them again (I am a bit dippy), I can post. Yay.
My "problem" is that while I have lots of clothes and try to dress nicely, I soon get bored/run out of time getting ready in the morning and start to rely on wearing the same things, probably about 10% of my wardrobe! I like slightly quirky stuff, rather than standard high street and I do like a bargainI also like to accessorise and I make my own jewellery as a bit of a hobby/sideline but again, time and imagination often fail me, so I go out without jewellery, which is a shame as I have so much!
Oh and shoes- I have a bit of a shoe fetish, but again, so often resort to wearing Uggs as they are comfy and convenient. I quite fancy getting some heels, but I am soooo clumsy that they couldn't be too high, or I might just break my neck
We are having new bedroom furniture, Next dropped it off at some ungodly hour this morning, so once that is built, it will force me to have a sort out!
Umm, that's about it for now, hope you don't mind me joining in, you all sound lovely!

Hiya Millie
The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned! I love it when lots of people post in here.
Mmm that sounds gorgeous Laura. Fancy sharing the recipe? Would you believe I've never made chocolate brownies? I'm attempting dumplings for the first time tonight - I can see it going horribly wrong0 -
oh i've already resigned myself to the fact he will never change / learn. i just have to stop letting myself get so annoyed by it.
and they're not too in your face, alex - not as crazy as the wrestler boots haha0 -
hi millie

not as crazy as, say, these (which my dad has not yet commented on as i have never yet worn

omg. seriously - £75 for a skirt?! http://shop.irregularchoice.com/shop/product/3505/
i'm trying to track down the one pair i am allowing myself to order this month, and then it's a spend-free october clothes / shoes-wise!
let's see how long i last ;S0 -
I do find their clothing quite a lot overpriced. But then again, if it's "designer" it's probably not too hideously expensive. I still wouldn't spend £75 on it though!
Which pair are you getting?0 -
Welcome to the thread, Millie!
PF - that skirt is insanely overpriced. Why not get a couple of vintage aprons, cut the waist ties off and sew them to the front and back of another skirt?0 -
Yum, the brownies sound yummy!
Just seen some use the new illamasqua precision eye liners. Ultra smudge proof and one is a gorgeous gold colour. Is gold eyeliner in this season?
I've decided that i'm going to purchase a couple of MAC items a month so that way I can build up my collection without spending a fortune (at the one time). Plus, i'm still debating doing a make up artistry course so it would come in handy (that my excuse :rotfl:)
I think I'll need to put my Primark trip of until next weekMake £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£3100
