I got up this morning early in case I had to take mum and dad to Glasgow airport (they had a taxi booked for 6:30 but taxis have a habit of not being able to find the house which is about 5 minutes from my flat). I left my block to walk up and it wasn’t too bad so I carried my coat and didn't bother to button up my jacket. Of course it tipped down as soon as I was halfway to their house. I ended up in the kitchen ironing the front of my shirt dry.
Their taxi did turn up after they phoned so my dad could repeat his previous instructions twice more. The taxi driver couldn't get his head round the fact the house is inside a park!

So I avoided a double trip – Mum’s to airport, Airport to work (in the opposite direction) and walked back to pick up my own car – this time with my raincoat on.

Today
Grey wool jacket. – House of Frazer via charity shop
Dark navy chinos – Cotton Traders
Faded effect burnt orange mini check button down shirt – Marks
Yellow and navy broad stripe rep tie.
Green and white check socks
Black monk loafers.
Light grey military style raincoat from Barnardos charity shop, I unpicked the belt loops to update it a bit.
