  • I'm going to the crafts for christmas at the NEC in november with my old dear. I know we will spend a fortune!

I am hoping to go too, with my "old dear" but will deposit her in the cake decorating bit as she loves stuff like that :)
  • OOh exciting.
Thanks Caroline - you seem to be doing really well with the crafting recently, anything in particular which brought it on? :)

I remember having a train bday cake once, i think i was about 4 or something..but similar idea, filled with biscuits / sweets etc, it was brilliant!

Does anyone know anything about Pandora bracelets / charms? Need to get a charm for sis' bday..any good sites? Also, does anyone know if i have to get them from Pandora for them to fit the bracelet?

Lots of the charms around fit Pandora bracelets, but obviously if you want the real thing, it is always best to go to a proper supplier as there are lots of copies around.

If they don't have to be Pandora, try Jilly beads, as they do some nice sterling silver beads that fit Pandora stuff. I have bought them from there before so can vouch for the quailty :)
  • Well I looked, but there are some much nicer ones on other websites (IMO), and therefore was just wondering if they would be likely to fit, as it doesnt' mention pandora at all.
i like this one for her: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Virtue-Silver-White-Black-Enamel/dp/B003P9WBTG/ref=sr_1_22?ie=UTF8&s=jewelry&qid=1285775600&sr=8-22
but not sure if it will fit :(

Oh that's cute Char. I'm sure I've seen threads on this forum that have recommended online stores that sell either Pandora or suitable charms - have you tried searching?

I kind of miss proper charm bracelets :( Not that I ever really wear mine but they're just so much more interesting.

I love proper charm bracelets too!
  • i have one but it's now too heavy for wearing ;( gets in the way..
not a fan of the pandora ones, but i used to love getting new charms for my old-school one!
  • I like jangly bracelets. I have a Links bracelet but only one charm (heart) on it.

Not sure what brought my crafting on. i have always done a bit of cross stitch but I just starting again this year and it's spiralled out of control!

What day are you goingto the NEC Millie? I'm going on the Saturday I think. I'm taking mum to see Armstrong and Miller on the Friday night too as it's her brthday treat. She doesn't know she's going. She thinks she's babysitting so i can go and band.

Ooh I like that cardi! I've just got a couple of ladder knit jumpers from the Tesco sale to take the place of the lovely grey one I had last year. I ebayed it as it was way too big and got back more than I'd paid for it in the first place!
