I love that Tesco cardi too - the shoulder embellishment is fab.

Going to my friend's swishing fundraiser tomorrow. You get to leave with as many items as you bring. I've looked out 7 things but am making it a rule to leave with 3 max. No point having a clear-oot just to fill up with more stuff I don't need.

Shall need to be strong though!

    xx
  • What day are you goingto the NEC Millie? I'm going on the Saturday I think. I'm taking mum to see Armstrong and Miller on the Friday night too as it's her brthday treat. She doesn't know she's going. She thinks she's babysitting so i can go and band.

I'm not sure yet, either the saturday or sunday. We only live 25 mins away so can get there nice and early. I would like to get tickets in advance though to save money :)

    Morning all.

I wouldn't say I'm stylish today, but its a little better. Black three quarter length trousers, a long teal vest under a shorter black longsleeved t. On the plus side I took three minutes to put hair up instead of ten seconds to scrape it up (although couldn't find bobby pins). My skin looks fab today (hoorah!) so make up is very basic, eyebrow pencil, mascara, subtle for me turquoise under eye liner, some lovely barely there lipgloss and my beloved red NArs cream blusher. I am amazed how versatile the red blusher has been. with a slight gold glimmer the red sounds really difficult to wear but lightly applied its deliciously subtle, and with a bit more oomph its very fresh-weather rosy.

Oh, Lost, I think when I have the pennies, I'm going to have to try this Nars red blusher!

Sat drinking peppermint tea trying to work out an outfit for today, haa. It's going to be one extreme of the other..jeans vs. dress
  • technology is not on my side this morning, i've just paid two bills and both times the payment screen just kept refreshing, so i wasn't sure whether they went thru or not..ugh! had to phone up for them both in the end..but i think thats' all my bills for the month sorteD!
  • I went for jeans in the end, hm

    Boy flare jeans: next
White 3/4 sleeve burnout tee: new look
Pale green button up cropped vest: new look

and some form of flats when I go out later.

We actually have a little bit of sunshine today so I've gone for:

Brown, red and green print tea dress - Evie via car boot sale
Oatmeal ladder knit 3/4 sleeve jumper - Tesco sale
    Black tights
Cream & brown brogues - River Island
Faux pearl studs - not sure
Cream owl ring - New Look
  • Morning all.

I NEED to find some marmite cashews! And I'm all for 'proper' charm bracelets, my littlest brother's missus has a lovely one with such thoughtful charms on it.

I bought some glasses yesterday, they are a bit of a break from the norm for me. I've put some pictures in the usual place.

It has finally stopped raining here so I am going to venture out to the post office and to buy more medicine (I can't wait for the Aussie to come home, only two more sleeps):

'The Clash- London calling' album cover t shirt (originally from H&M, it was baby pink - not punk, so I customised it with some grey dylon)
A grey, brown and orange striped maxi skirt (it appears to come from Japan, but I got it in Oxfam)

I think I will add a 70s rust coloured suede jacket with a furry collar (a vintage fair in Cambridge when I was a teenager) and my cowboy boots (new look)

I hope you are all having good days x
