Thanks. Cambridge Corn Exchange is usually so expensive, a concession may help, but disabled parking round there is a nightmare on a normal day let alone when there is an event on so military style planning would be needed :rotfl:

Does this apply if you don't live in London and if so how do you buy this? Both myself and my husband both paid for travelcards for the few days we were in london last year and if we can do this for our trip this year at a reduced rate that would be great!

Chester zoo offers concessionary rates for disabled people and carers.
They used to let carers in free but they wont do it anymore


Blue Planet aquarium in cheshire oaks, ellesmere port lets carers in free, proof of carers allowance is needed and is limited to 1 adult per child

if you have a railcard, with some companies like crowne plaza hotels you can get further discounts by mentioning you have a railcard and quoting your rail card number - there is a leaflet you get with your railcard when you 1st get it, however i think there is a section on the railcard website about disabled railcard discounts. Cant post link as im new

Also with railcards you can travel any time of day or night even if you buy off peak tickets

Thats not for the London Underground though is it?

If your journey includes an underground journey (ie you have to cross from one mainline station to another using the underground) this is included with your ticket bought with your railcard.

If you just want to use the underground you can use your disabled-person-railcard to get 1/3 off an underground day-pass. (or you used to...these things sometimes change quite quickly... apologies if I'm out-of-date!)

Yes! either you can buy at a London train/tube station (from the counter not the machines) or I buy mine from my local rail station in Somerset - you can even buy them for each day you're away to save any queues in London.

Ask for an all-zones (1-6) all-day disabled travelcard. You can use this on all tube/train/buses in London zones 1-6, show some proof of entitlement (I have a Disabled adult RC plus blue badge etc) and you both get a 'DSB' rate travelcard (around £5 currently)

Any chance of a link to any info on this please?
I have searched online and my son is a tube driver, but can find nothing on it anywhere????
It would help my friends from Devon when they visit at Easter.

Just wanted to ask a quick question about the cinema card , i am on HR mobility but they reduced me to low rate care after being on middle rate for over three years would i still qualify for the cinema card ?
