Grr to the pesky Black Dog.... pick him up by the scruff of the neck and kick him out of the door. (Easier said than done eh.. I do find he'll wander off by himself if you don't feed him though (the dog that is, not Mike!)). x0

I find that long walks and talking nonsense to my black dog sees him off eventually. This time of year always sees him barking at the door again. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

This black dog's a sod! I've decided to take him off my Christmas Card list - an unwelcome visitor this year I think!0

I'll send over the little balack dog I was doggy-sitting. She'll give the black dog a run for his money, though at the other end of the spectrum.
She is full of energy, sneakily climbers back up by your side no matter how many times you push her away, gamolbes off after a fly, stares in awe and wonderment at birds and cows for hours on end, and is always full of joy and energy.
She'd send the black dog running for cover! She wouldn't give him a moments peace so he'd never have time to suck the energy from those he's chosen to follow.
Take care Mike.
