I didnt bother putting my tree up this year - not the full one with all the decorations and the lights but I did put up the smaller fibre optic one that I have had for donkeys years.

My large tree is very MSE too - most of the decorations were acquired from freegle.

Glad you went out and had fun Horace! Well deserved after working so hard and finding out about cheating weasel!

Mike, watch where your going as you wander around deep in thought, huh? Don't want you hitting your head on all them walls and stuff! :)

But wow, yeah. What an article! I can see the meditation bit of my body balance class will be just as "busy" as last week. I was getting so good at emptying my mind too! ;) :rotfl:

Wow, while you are pondering Mike see if you can dig up any more info that could help you get Paul Bridle of Horsham set up in a case like that.....

Horace, great to get out and about meeting new people, good for you :T A girl I went to school with was working for Central News at one point, don't know where she is now though.

Nicca - I read meditation as mediation twice :rotfl:

    Good heavens.

I wonder if this was a class action? I though it had to be a certain amount before the High Court was used?

It's nearly £1million, I think any court would be interested in that. Multiple victims... these cowboys are real scumbags.

This was criminal, so it was punishment only, not damages, compensation etc...

(as you know I am sure :))

Like how to put a flat pack together?

Although I'm not sure what message being good at flatpack actually spends - "Furnishing Cheapskate", probably ;):o

If you could have a word with your mate Nick.that would be fab-u-lous, I know he rides a motorbike (I am good at cleaning them) and sailing, I can manage that - we would make a good team:D

Not around much again, apologies for that but Horace has been a dirty stop out and went out on Friday night (this is totally unheard of) with some mates to a bar in Birmingham for a drink and a chat - some were mates and some were strangers although I did make a fab connection with a former Central TV newsreader (which reminds me, I must ring her this week). I had to spend the whole weekend recovering from the shock of going out though:eek: Oh and I cleaned the kitchen and made a start on cleaning the lounge.

Am glad I found out about cheating weasel when I did and I have since uncovered more - had to laugh as he is passing himself off as a 30 something medical professional - he is 44 and a civil servant who works for the MHRA and certainly not a medical professional:rotfl: I have even seen a photo of the new friend too, she is rather hard faced if you ask me but then I think they are well suited:rotfl:

I love your pictures Mike including the one of the festive branch:D
You sound like Nick's type. I expect he'll contact you direct.

Going out does get harder as we get older. I'm almost over New Year's Eve.

Sounds as though you had a narrow escape and there's a Walter Mitty on the loose. Aren't all new girlfriends 'hard faced'? I think it's the law.

My illuminated stick? Yes, very festive. Doubles as an airer for my undies for the rest of the year.

Outside, of course. In the living room would be a bit weird.

On a completely unrelated note... does anyone have a good contact with a dentist. Not for me; a friend needs help and I'm just asking everyone if they know a dentist who is more interested in ethics and helping people than making money. Bit unlikely but you never know...
