  • Just a quickie to say hi, hope everyone is ok... I'm still lurking around, just trying to find a new place to live and getting extensions on uni assignments and making amends with MrS.

Hugs to anyone that needs them x

Just wanted to say that I did try licking my elbow but discovered that I couldn't.

    Hope everyone is ok today:D

On a completely unrelated note... does anyone have a good contact with a dentist. Not for me; a friend needs help and I'm just asking everyone if they know a dentist who is more interested in ethics and helping people than making money. Bit unlikely but you never know...

Explosive topic. I needed extensive/expensive dental work 18 months ago when my bottom teeth started falling out!!:eek:I had to go for 4 implants into my bottom jaw onto which a bridge was fitted. No, it wasn't painful, and I was in no pain afterwards. The treatment by Gentle Dental in Tunbridge Wells was excellent. I opted to pay by interest free monthly instalments over a year. That also was painless, and was soon paid for.:T

I don't know if that helps Mike but I found them excellent, quick and professional. On the day the loose teeth were removed and the inplants were screwed in I was sat for nearly 2 hours with my mouth open. At the end I was given a bunch of flowers by the dentist for being a good girl!!. Given that I hate dentists I did well.

This was of course a private dentist that I have been going to for 20 years (terrible teeth all my life) But they are certainly the best I have ever known.

Hope this helps. Shout if you need more details.

Thank you both for those suggestions. I've forwarded them to my friend and they appreciated the support. She says she has enough options to try now.

    Ta, Mobsters.

Not something I've ever had a problem with. I expect you'll get some suggestions when the night shift gets here.

As you can see, sleep is working for me this evening!!!

At this stage I reach for the valerian teabags! The same effect as NightNurse but without the groggy wake up call. (Well, in so much as any wake up call can possibly be grog free when you are absolutley not a morning person. Ever.)

Meditation is meant to work too... but I did that just before 9pm tonight at the end of body blance, so I'm not so sure...

Picking up any course work you have to read is bound to have the desired affect though!
