Did they dig up the garden for the BT line or is it a wire over the top?
If they have dug it up it is possible they have hit the underground drain pipe or disturbed it
Or it may just be a blocked drain
If it is a rented property it is probably the landlord's issue either way.
If it isn't rented you can try some Mr Muscle stuff (Sink and Drain I think), or if it likely to be a build up of grease hot soapy water sometimes works.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
I need to do my email to Catherine at the Beeb - will she get me a date with Nick Nowles I wonder because he is hot?:o
Sorry not been around for a few days have had a traumatic time - discovered on 2nd Jan that my boyfriend of 7 years turned out to be a cheating weasel not only going out with someone else but lying about all the weekends when he was supposed to be sailing with the civil service when in fact he was on weekends away hiking etc - even weekends organised by him using my maps:mad: One sailing trip to the south of france was on a boat hired by him (not civil service) and was crewed by mainly women:mad: Anyway, he is nothing but a cheating weasel and couldn't stand straight behind a corkscrew. I have not got myself together and am amazed how quickly I have gone from loving him to complete indifference.
Onwards and upwards..it is a new year and a new start for us all.:D0 -
Grrrrrrr to lying cheating weasels
Love this phrase: couldn't stand straight behind a corkscrew
Glad you have got to indifference already :T Hope 2011 turns out to be a great one for you despite a dodgy start

:rotfl: Princess, I fear I may have hijacked Mike's thread many a time. And I will probably continue to do so. He's pretty inclusive that way! Only thing is, if you're talking nonsesne, he is likely to draw attention to it and you have to be quick to think of a smart alec response.
:rotfl:
Oh don't be ridiculous, niccatw. I'm a complete p u s s y cat. Ask anyone.
(The woman for whom hijacking my thread wasn't enough, had to take over the programme too... )0 -

Doing my Pollyanna bit here... maybe in time it will turn out to have been a GREAT start to the year that you found out what was happening?
Tough break. Hope you feel better v soon. Indifference is a normal phase to go through. Expect others though to follow

Just spotted this on the Freebie board. Thought it might be of use to someone. (Might not, of course, but you can but try!)
"As the title say's ask a solcitor a question, online, for free. Handy site to bookmark, they claim to give you an answer within the hour, but guessing it will depend on the time of day you ask the question.

Looks like you can ask a question for free but you have to pay for the answer...0
