I was also wondering about this.

Not yet, despite getting judgement awarded against him.

The main part of the bit Dom did on the One Show was to explain how useless our legal system really is, even with the law on your side after winning a case you may still not get paid out.

All you need is for them to have all their money (or even property) in the wife's name and you are stuffed.

You would think you could, but Mike has been there and not been able to yet!! If we get out teeth into it Brindle will not know what has hit him. I only hope he was watching the show tonight and people who know him and know what he was responsible for putting a decent family through.... "one day Thomas, one day" ....

Just finished watching it on IPlayer ... well done every single one of you who have helped on the journey; the house looks stunning, the support from the local community seemed very generous but the support from this forum from the beginning has been awesome, happy times ahead Mike! :D

Can I ask as well (this is directed to you Mike), you hear of these DIY programmes where, when the house has been done up and is looking braw, the owners are in for 2 hours and it starts to fall apart and the coffee tables are made of MDF which fall down with a sneeze, was it all done to a nice standard?

It certainly looked amazing but then we are not living in it (mores the pity as I would sell my soul for a kitchen like that!!!)

Am so glad I saw it and it was by accident as I normally switch these kind of things off as I normally don't like them but I was reading and then my attention got switched when it mentioned a website and then the story came back to me.
