I've just watched the show too, and was totally in awe of the goodness of the MSE folk yet again. I remember them helping me about 3 years ago and their support was second to none, so I can appreciate how you must feel having help from your 'online' friends.

Your house looks fantastic Mike! I really hope that life goes well for you and the boys from now on - here's to a fab 2011!!

I must thank SouthernBelle who sent me a PM about tonight's DIY SOS. I did manage to watch it and thought of Mike and his boys and of MSE. This is the first time in months that I have been on the forum (too much time working on my business and not giving thought to anyone or anything else so apologies for that). Can I confess that I was a tad tearful and I am so pleased that everything turned out well.

What a wonderful programme, such a superb result, I am so pleased for Mike and his boys, it really was worth the wait to see the programme. I hope that you have many happy years in your lovely home.

Have to say though, that when the camera got me stuffing my face with cake I nearly died! Looked very fat and very very scruffy
