  • Fabulous! As soon as I saw the Mike's mob lady I wondered if it was MSE that she was talking about. I've gone back to the original thread now, and remember reading all about it, but I'd always assumed lisawaters was a woman! A great result for Mike and for MSE....
  • Absolutely amazing!

You guys really rock. Was quite tearful in parts and no amount of description ever really prepared you for how much of a building site the house was.

    WELL DONE ALL!

I watched it too!! Not a programme I normally watch but I do remember reading bits and bobs over time about Mike's case and the last I read DIY SOS had taken it on...

House looked v fab and cosy - I'm betting they had a fabulous 'first' Christmas in their 'new home' and I hope it was turkey and all the trimmings and not spag bol!!!

Lovely boys as well Mike who are a credit to you.

Restored my (almost lacking) faith in human nature it did!!!:D
  • How to make a grown man cry. Loved the show and you guys deserve it so much. I hope the original builder watched it and seen what he did to a family. Was amazing to see so many people coming together. Mikes mob should be proud. Great to have people like that. Makes me proud. The house looks amazing. Stunning kitchen. Best of luck in the future.
