Thanks for that, I like to get an honest constructive opinion. Thing is none of the people on here that have said they aren't nasty to newbies ever have been AFAIK.

Personal favourite AE was the one who had a cat and wanted to make a tunnel through their kitchen wall as the cat had an aversion to cat flaps.

Person AE gripe - when they post "hello" threads. Really fricking irritating. If you were that interesting in the first place, you wouldn't have to bother saying hello, you'd be more creative. Stinks of laziness which is not a desired trait in any AE.

I actually felt sorry for her when I read what she'd wrote on your depression thread, well until she attacked me on one of the other threads.

I'm not scared of her - I hardly know her as a poster.

I do know though, that both of you have said some unnecessary things to each other.

I've no idea how it started, or what it was started over, but as an adult, then you can take steps to ignore the poster, so that she cannot abuse you.

I would also point out that I reported several posts in the thread that you started [where you posted a picture] as they were not nice, and although I may not always openly challenge someone, as I feel that will aggravate a situation, I will report posts that I find are offensive.

I didn't see the nasty ones as when I came back from dinner the thread had been locked.

I wasn't having a go at you btw as you have always been nothing but nice to me even when we have disagreed.

not sure about newbies..but I have noticed that on certain boards there are one or two posters who are extremely intolerant/full of themselves/on their high horses!
bet they're a right load of pompous twits in real life.....
