I still feel rough this afternoon and nauseaous for some reason I do not know.

so dragged myself up to B+Q and bought 2.40 of reduced plants -10xspinach 10p, pak cho 20p for 6i, 45 golden beetroot at 50p per pack of 15 and some more rescued lettuce for 10p

All potted up now bar the beetroot while I work out where they can go.

Feel so run down and rubbish I've come in to watch the Murray match after listening to Fed getting knocked out on the radio while planting out, right where's my list to update for tomorrow?

    Hi ,
    RE Prom,

I can see what you are all saying, however it is ds1's school prom not G/F's ( that will be next year at different school, if of course, the relationship lasts that long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

He thinks it has gone completely OTT and has only got his 'Black tie' sorted because i have ordered it. He was happy in his jeans..........

I obviously dont want to upset the poor lamb but..........well she choose him!

    H xxx

That's is so different then, sorry I misunderstood as DS1's prom was for the kids in that year only, no 'outsiders'. Now I understand the situation more I'd say leave them to it and see how the courgette goes!

Need to sort out some dinner and finish the S&Sing. Football runs to do tonight.

you'd be better off at stepping hill - probably easier to get to
    http://www.nhs.uk/Services/Hospitals/MapsAndDirections/DefaultView.aspx?id=1760

here is a link to a map showing where it is!

Pigpen...IMHO Stepping Hill is great for a straightforward birth. They have a very good midwife led unit. But I think Wythenshawe is better if there are problems as they've got a much better SCBU and NICU I think. Depending on where you are in Stockport then Wythenshawe could be just as close. I've got friends who had their babies as Stepping Hill and with a nice 'normal' delivery there was no problem at all. But I've also got other friends who when things didn't go exactly to plan had a few problems. As I say, just my opinion though.

Not done any flying today but did do a fair bit on Monday and also made DH clean out the kitchen drawers (cos he spilt coke in them all) and the freezer (cos he put a bottle of beer in there and forgot about it and the top blew off and there was beer all over the freezer). First time he's done either job since we've lived in the house 10 years I think!

Will have to post a list tomorrow as I need to tidy the kitchen and bath the girls before going to my sister's for a 4 mile run.

Hugs to Toots...sorry to hear your sad news.
    xx

ETA: Pigpen....Let me know if you do have Squeak this neck of the woods....I could come and visit you!!!!

    Afternoon all,

My gosh it's hot today (29C indoors and 30 outdoors - I know because we were measuring weather in class this afternoon).

Well I'm off tomorrow, and lots of flying to do as it's my birthday, and having friends over on the way back from dinner hopefully. Must make sure I don't drink too much of the free cava, as I know I'm teaching a particularly difficult class on Friday. Unfortunately / fortunately, one of my friends and her partner can no longer come, as she had her little girl on Monday night (due in August), so there will be more wine to share between fewer of us. Plan for tomorrow is to catch up on flying, washing, and then pamper myself and get ready slowly, as we are meeting everyone at 6.30 in town. Will need to remove the nailvarnish I have on my toes, as it's been growing out for ages now, and looks a bit tatty.

Flying wise, I've collected all of the dishes from around the house and put them in the DW, caught up on emails, surveys and threads, but not a lot else. Wonder if Moon has cleared up the hotspot by the side of the sofa yet?

Off to have a look and get a cup of tea and one of my crispy cakes.

Hugs to toots, and anyone else who would like one.

    sexymouse xx

moan alert - Am getting a bit grumpy that this place is a bit messy. I know a lot of it is my stuff but DH has not taken the pushchair box to the recycling as promised and never finished the hoovering last weekend.

Protect your relationship, rach you will need him on side soon when your little vuvuzela starts screaming in the dead of night!!
Sure enough just before the baby made an appearance the mum blurted out to her husband that he wasn't the dad........ kid sister wishes floor would open up and swallow her!
Mother's comment confirmed when baby born - mum and dad both pale skinned.......baby DEFINITELY not!;)

When I had DD1 two blokes had a fistfight in the hospital corridor to settle paternity of a new baby (not DD1 of course!)

The poor girl has also been hinting about a corsage.DS1 has stuck a courgette on a ribbon and is going to claim a misunderstanding. DS2 is loving the idea.

Are you using Oven Pride? If not, why not? It is AMAZING! My oven racks have not got one single speck of dirt on them, they look like they are brand new. Minimal/no scrubbing required.

It didn't work so well when I used it, but it may have been me :o using a washing powder paste which normally does the trick but I hadn't realised how grubby they had got. Saving my remaining Oven Pride for inside the oven as that is where it is REALLY needed
