Protect your relationship, rach you will need him on side soon when your little vuvuzela starts screaming in the dead of night!!!

Rach - I agree. Don't let little things wind you up at this stage. You are both going to be exhausted soon, and it is very hard to be reasonable when your supposed to be bundle of joy little darling has woken you up every 45 minutes all night, and you have to deal with it because you are not the one going to work in the morning on no sleep. You both have a lot of changes to deal with in the coming weeks, try and worry about the ones that really matter, not the trivial. I hope you read this the right way and am not upsetting you :o. I made myself ill by focussing on the little things, and I would hate you to do the same.

Today has been spent on emergency cleaning. MIL due at midnight. She genuinely wouldn't mind the mess, but I mind her seeing it. Upstairs is nearly done but I still have quite a lot to do downstairs. Head down and batter on. just need to decide exactly who I am going to batter.....:rotfl:

Since my last post I have planted out yet more plants in the garden fingers crossed they survive and grow to fruition

Swept up in the yard and washed gardening tools, brought in washing and recycled appropriately

WM load finished ready to put out in the morning

Just the washing up to do after Wimbledon highlights

Really stopping myself ringing the rescue centre about a dog I saw on their website after the one I originally saw had gone to a new home. Would love to give a home but need to think about it a bit more

Feel better now and upset stomach feeling has passed

    Plan for tomorrow is
    Get up, walk dog
    Go for run
    Shower and change
Visit mum for the day and take over some plants
Come back and think about HHI or flying or put it off until Friday when waiting in for CH annual inspection
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333

I'll be back flying on Friday... I did two lots of washing up today though.

Very productive day at work, broad outline of all the work for Years 7,8,9 all done. Finer details to be added next Wednesday.:D

I was home early enough to get to the allotment to collect salad and dig some potatoes, which we had with lemon garlic chicken - don't sniff, I'm very French tonight!

DD has decided to go to her 6th Form ball tomorrow after all. (They don't do a Year 11 prom).

DS1 had applied for work in a new Barnado's shop - and has been shortlisted and called for interview - his first real success in over a year, so he's thrilled. Fingers crossed they offer him something, preferably part-time. He went to see Ozzy Osborne last night, and said today that this was turning out to be a really good week!

dusty - I've asked DD's friend to take photos of DS2, as it's the first time I shan't be around for the Leavers' Assembly. I may post it tomorrow pm.

ffp - get better vibes for your FIL.

toots - love and hugs. Your friend made their mark on the world, and is remembered with love. Worth celebrating, in my view.

Love and hugs to toots, lady-liberty and diva.

rach my poppet, enjoy this maternity leave, as it's the only one you'll get. Don't sweat the small stuff. Love and hugs.
