He's got to re-submit his last lot of uni work in August cos he CBA when it was actually due & STILL hasn't applied for finance for next year. I'm torn between shutting up about it & letting him realise the consequences of his actions (or inaction) or nagging till I'm blue in the face!

Um... tell him once now, let him know you'll be there for advice and leave him to it? If he's sorted enough to emerge from Glastonbury in one piece - and could take in enough info to get to the right stage for the bands he wanted to see:D - then applying that knowledge to the rest of his life may not be a bad thing.

    Hi ,
    RE Prom,

I can see what you are all saying, however it is ds1's school prom not G/F's ( that will be next year at different school, if of course, the relationship lasts that long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

He thinks it has gone completely OTT and has only got his 'Black tie' sorted because i have ordered it. He was happy in his jeans..........

I obviously dont want to upset the poor lamb but..........well she choose him!

DS1's girl friend has asked him to wear a 'shocking pink' bow tie to the prom. He has asked her to get it, with the explaination to her that "he may get the colour wrong" and the explaination to his brother of "s*d that for a game of soldiers"!!!!

The poor girl has also been hinting about a corsage.
DS1 has stuck a courgette on a ribbon and is going to claim a misunderstanding. DS2 is loving the idea.

How will you explain assault with a deadly courgette at A & E?

Bathroom didn't take long but I have wiped around every day so the tiles only needed wiping down and everything else had a quick clean.

Not one to leave a job unfinished I have just started tackling the last of my oven racks. It is nearly clean but going to meet OH from work soon so may have to finish it when I get back.
