DD2's year 2 teacher moved away from York but insisted on coming back here for her brothers wedding despite being 39 weeks pregnant. She is the only person I know to have had a drive thru baby!:D

She exited the motorway (in car with hubby and 4 yearold twins) in labour at Chesterfield the satnav got them to the hospital just in time! By the time she arrived in York she had an extra child in the car!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: So the baby was a Derby tup then? Like ours if so :D DH was going to drive me over the border into Yorkshire in case Miss A popped out as a boy! Fortunately (for me) he did take be to C'field and all was well.

toots sorry to hear about G sending big squishy hugs to you.

natty sorry to hear about toxic but I suspect you knew that and her recent treatment of you has confirmed the situation. Now if you wanted to be very cynical I would recommending that your bank did an 'in hands and in order' enquiry on the cheques you have been given ;) PM me if you want more info.

Mowed the lawn front and back, emptied the DW, bought hayfever meds online thanks to :money:, checked online banking and sat here for ages

    Lunch now.

    HI all.

I am doing my usual flying but not always able to catch up with the thread so appologies for that.

I am getting an unfortunate insight to the type of male i am bringing up!. :o

DS1's girl friend has asked him to wear a 'shocking pink' bow tie to the prom. He has asked her to get it, with the explaination to her that "he may get the colour wrong" and the explaination to his brother of "s*d that for a game of soldiers"!!!!

The poor girl has also been hinting about a corsage.
DS1 has stuck a courgette on a ribbon and is going to claim a misunderstanding. DS2 is loving the idea.

    H:o

    Hi everyone!

I must be two or three weeks into the FlyChapping now - and after some Olympic-level decluttering sessions, the house is beginning to look something approaching alright.......

The maintenance is easier than the making-sure-it's-all-clean-and-tidy-to-begin-with, isn't it?

Joy of the day to y'all :)

'Here comes me an' ahr owd lass, short o'money an' short o' brass: pay for a pint and let us sup,
Then we'll show yer the Derby Tup':rotfl:
I'll be one of those then and DD too but they mangled me during delivery at Chesterfield so I refused to go back for DS1 who was born at Darley which involved an interesting drive down Two Dales to get there with only minutes to spare.
Only flying so far is dailies, S&S kitchen, tidy round everywhere, beds made, WMX2, TDX2, washing folded and put away/onto ironing pile. DW emptied, lunch decluttered and UNCERTAINTY of MEASUREMENT is done but I'm not too sure, infact a little uncertain :D - can't you just tell it has gone to my head.

Toots - sorry to hear about your friend, sending hugs and prayers
Jojo - things sound rough at the moment, can you do anything to break the cycle? I made doc laugh recently when I said about general irritability and with DS1 in particular "I'm taking so many deep breaths and counting to 10 so often I'm in danger of hyperventilating". :D He knows just which buttons to press and can't resist pressing them and he is way, way too much like me for anybodies good.
Pigpen - sympathy on the impending IKEA visit, I hate the place and they never deliver the items I want, could you not call on the way back from your in-law visit?
VOR - glad it's making a difference. I've been a bit slacking recently but it has only taken a few weeks of gradually plugging away at it to be back to a reasonable standard and think, well it's all still fairly clean or just needs a quick swish (instead of scrubbing) so I'll tackle a few of the extras instead. Well done. - Take heart all you newcomers.
