Morning campers, thought I would catch you all out and get in here early
But looks like I really have to be early to get here before anyone else..lol Did anyone miss me while I was out of action being a wifey last week..lol
Am enjoying a lovely cup of tea, sitting out on the patio, with the laptop on the patio table and Radio 2 playing quietly in the background. Aaaah what heaven this is. I hope none of my neighbours look out there windows and see me as I am only in a little short nighty - couldn't be bothered to put anything else on. Well it is my garden and it is summer and it is hot...well that's my excuses..lol
The little sparrows are being really brave and are feeding from there feeder literally 6ft in front of me. I've already seen Mrs Thrush this morning, she was collecting up some sort of fern/grassy stuff so I think she might be nesting, although I thought she would have had her brood by now. I can hear Mr and Mrs Dove, and Mr Woody Woodpigeonis calling to his new girlfriend. I am expecting them to join me shortly as it is a glorious morning, so cool and a lovely blue sky. Ooooh I can hear a bit of commotion going on in the tree at the end of the garden, I do hope it isn't my lovely dovesAlthough she is probably telling him how to clean the nest properly..:rotfl:
Olliecat is sitting down the bottom of the garden staring at whatever he stares at. I have been down there to have a look on various occasions but can't find anything - I reakon he hallucinates..lol
Jet is staring at the hosepipe, I think he is convinced it is going to come on like it did the other night when he was laying there looking at it. He couldn't believe his luck, he was just laying there with his head on his front paws and DH switched on the tap inside and out shot the water from the hose..Jet thought it was all his birthdays come at once..lol Needless to say I had one hell of a job trying to water the plants with him trying to get the water from me.. :rotfl: Awww he has just gone inside and got his mousey toy and dumped it in my lap - not what I want, a wet soggy stuffed mouse..:rotfl:
Oooh Ollie is on the move, nope false alarm he has just turned around..lol
Oooh before I post my lists, for those that have been following my saga with Toxic. She has sent me two cheques to cover the outstanding money that she owes me for the vets bills, from a year ago when Fred the cat died. No note or anything just two pre-dated cheques. Aaaah that reminds me one is due to be paid in today, so better do that later on.
She has also deleted me from her FB account, has put a couple of nasty things on there as well as let her "friends" say I'm shallow, selfish etc. And if I was a true friend I would stick through her through good and bad times.. errr what have I just done the last three years? Somehow I think someone is not telling the whole truth when she has mentioned me. I honestly didn't think she was like that, but maybe I should have listened to my DH - he didn't like her for various reasons and said she was shallow and selfish. How right he was. But to tell you the truth it does hurt knowing that she values our friendship so little, and doesn't even acknowledge the texts/emails with a "get stuffed" if anything. DH said she will need me before I need her, I think he might be right. But then she is going to be out of luck as I won't be around or as forthcoming. Oh well I hope she is happy and gets everything she deserves  Oooh does that sound !!!!!y, honest it isn't meant to be - I'm not hurt at all..
Toots hugs honey, so sorry about your friend from Cornhill
LL - welcome back sweetie. Glad you enjoyed Glastonbury, it was certainly different weather to other years. I watched Scissor Sisters set on BBC3 and was so envious of you there. Missed you though

Good morning all,
Had a slight panic this morning as I couldn't find my glasses, pulled the sofa apart and then found them on the ironing board!!!! While the sofa cushions are all off, I'm going to give it a quick hoover, then find a list.......0 -

Hi all
I am going to attempt to join in today as working from home. I'm so tired as it's so hot (i know I'm not the only one), and even with earplugs in the noise of the traffic kept me awake from about 6am.
moan alert - Am getting a bit grumpy that this place is a bit messy. I know a lot of it is my stuff but DH has not taken the pushchair box to the recycling as promised and never finished the hoovering last weekend. Everywhere is gritty thanks to the windows being open when we live on a main road. Having said that I think a couple of HHCs would do the job as it's all on the surface!
Wanted to say thanks to dusty for the heads up as my JL order was delivered Monday (only ordered sat), need to collect from shop below when they open.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

DD2's year 2 teacher moved away from York but insisted on coming back here for her brothers wedding despite being 39 weeks pregnant. She is the only person I know to have had a drive thru baby!:D
She exited the motorway (in car with hubby and 4 yearold twins) in labour at Chesterfield the satnav got them to the hospital just in time! By the time she arrived in York she had an extra child in the car!
