holly.. i've not been putting my bunnies out until about 6pm as it is so hot the poor things were just melting.. they have a water bottle on their run now though which they seemed happy about.
They're in a chicken coop and spend all day in the run at the bottom ( with access to the top part ), usually hiding under the ramp in the shade. I do feel sorry for them with all that fur. Neveah gave me a good tip about putting a frozen 2ltr bottle of water in the run with them as it feels like when you stand in front of an open freezer.0 -

while we're talking about dogsmy 2 year old Tess (a rescue puppy) was spayed today.. she's currently sleeping it off, but is very sorry for herself
It's the first time ever that the old girl (14 and a bit) has been more active than she is!
Flying-wise the downstairs bathroom is immaculate, upstairs will have to wait. WM and DW on, tea & a glass of wine decluttered
The chickens are behaving im-peck-ably :rotfl::rotfl:and are roaming the garden during the day, and putting themselves to bed about 8 ish. No eggs yet though!
Hope everyone is ok, & hugs to those that need them

recipe looks fine Dusty...
Having said that I have never pre-warmed sugar BUT I am very careful to stir when I add it, until it dissolves. Prepping the fruit is hard work but blackcurrants make brilliant jam.
And I'm on week 3 + (?) of my diet and it's working - can't think WHAT the incentive isso no jam for me LOL

Toots I would come and help you if I was nearby!
And I want to thank the Flyladies, particulary Pigpen and Dusty without whom I would never have joined Quidco because a 3 figure (just) sum is on it's way into the Valliland BankDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

DD2 has a runner-up medal :j :j :j :j
They did a flapper style dance to Bugsy Malone - Speakeasy.
Got my seat right at the front and watched as DD2 appeared to grow 4 inches as she stepped onto the stage, no slouching or scowling, beaming through the dance and having a great time. She really looks as though as though she belongs up there, looking down on the stalls rather than the other way around, and she agrees she prefers the view from up there!
Just chased her off to bed. She has elected to keep the liquid eyeliner and mascara on tonight (she may regret it in the morning, but she won't be told anything). Strangely, she does trust me to apply makeup.
Decluttered small beer and now trying to bring myself to heft my carcasse off to bed.
Too much effort.
Still like a sauna round here, and I left the fan on full all evening so I didn't come back to a puddle of cats on the floor. Came back to a row of collapsed kitties strewn across the hall flooring instead.
Rainmaking can start now, if you all like?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
