I meant blt to be honest.
Two hours for an engine swop, it's a bit fast.
I think you're doing the best thing, sell, it, and see what you end up with.
I bought an excellent 106 diesel for £475 a few years ago, it's cost next to nothing since as well.
Oh I see..
It's not just the engine swap though, it's the time, maybe it will take 2 people.
I don't want them to start and then the price adds up, or the engine is a dud.
I will get what I can - pop it into my ISA and then if a cheap car comes up and I'm struggling without one then I'll get it. If not, then I'll just keep adding to it.
If I don't get a job again soon, it will pay for a months bills.9/70lbs to lose0 -
Can I do that now? Or will I have to wait til it's sold?
If its not advertised with tax, and its not on the road, you can sned the tax disc in now to get a refund - you will get each full month left on the disc refunded (unless this has changed recently)
Remember you will also need to fill in a SORN declaration for the car as well. Not sure if this has to be done at the same time, though suspect it does.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

Car is parked on the road, so I'll have to keep the tax on it.9/70lbs to lose0
