I have just applied for a barclaycard initial and at the end it said congratulations you have been accepted and the card would be with me within 5 days. Is there still a chance the buggars still might decline me?0

Gotta love their pre-app check, it's complete rubbish! Also, does it not cost them money to process full applications - credit search etc? So why do they encourage people to apply then decline them!? If they MADE money for an application then fair enough (as "moneysupermarket" etc do - and rate you stupidly highly to encourage you to apply) but can't understand them!
I'm going to request an increase after 6 months - not sure how far to push it though... 1k, £1,250... 1.5k???0
