Ok I have had my Vanquis for about 12 months (2 increases now £500), A capital one classic for about 8 months (one increase to £500). So plenty of nice green 0 on credit files, but still have some of the old defaults to fall off in the next 2 yrs or so, no CCj's now.

Do you reckon there are any cards I could go for now? Do you think i might get a cap one progress? What about sygma? Any thoughts welcome lol.

OK after reading a few older threads decided to try for a cap one progress to see if I can get a card the moves to a lower interest rate. decided if I can't get that will leave it for another while.

Did application online-it did the think for a minute thing then said well done you have passed the first stage of the application now you need to sign the agreement. I did this online and haven't heard a thing since. Keep expecting a letter or email to say no go lol. Anyone have an idea what the online message meant? Have I been accepted or not.

It means you've passed the credit check and they will get your card out to you.

If you had been referred rather than approved it would have given you the "We will write in 7-10 days" message.

Call them up, they'll find the application, and let you know it's progress and your limit.

How long ago did you apply?
    Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Apologies if this is the wrong thread, but can anyone tell me if a mobile phone company such as three mobile would:
    1) Search credit files before approving a monthly contract
    2) Report the account management to credit reference agencies, thus building up 'green ticks' and improving credit rating in the long run?
