Well it's been awhile since I've posted on here.
So;
Was accepted for a Flybe CC few months back.
Had a limit increase with RBS to £1250
Had my Barclaycard limit increased to 3k and an interest limit decrease to 19.9% from 27.5% but was rejected for a card upgrade to a Gold or similar and was also recently subject to fraud, having had someone use my card details!
This happened 3 times before BC suggested to cancel my card and issue me a new one. And even then, they haven't been the most helpful with resolving the situation. I'm debating if to just cancel the account to be honest (providing later down the line they'll accept me if I want to come back).

Wife decided she wanted a credit card of her own to build a credit profile so we applied for a Cap One for her, card came today with £1500 limit!
6-12 months before we can try for mainstream with her? She has no adverse history, just lack of history.0 -
You'll need more like 12~18 months of credit history before being able to get a proper prime credit card.
Congrats on the good starting limit though:beer:
Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

just been discharged.
I think it will be some time before i can have a card again. I will probibly give my friends capital one a try in 6 months time. Maybe they will have forgiven me by then.0 -

Dont forget to cleanup your credit files - make sure all defaults are showing as satisfied/partially satisfied and the dates are right.
If you dont you'll still get people chasing you, Capital One are still unlikely to touch you and your defaults wont drop off as soon as they could do.

It's available on the app store now and has some really cool features that let you keep track of your debts. It has a monthly budget planner and payment reminders as well so you don't get stung for missing payments!
Well worth the investment, and no credit checks either! Debt Buster in the app store. Check it out.0 -
If your struggling wuth debts you should not own a iphone which is a very expensive toy. Just my opinion.
It's just a developer spamming his crappy app. I've reported him. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I don't want it, it sucks and I wouldn't pay 1p it for let alone £1.79.
