You've never managed to get one then? Haha I've got no chance then, I can't see what's up with that stupid pre-app check to give me such high percentage and then I get instant decline lol! :rotfl:

Yea because Computer Science, Computer Networking and Accounting are such easy pointless subjects to study, clearly not worth us studying them

I did not know you were studying any of them.

i said students who study something worth studying,i mean the pointless subjects with stupid made up names that no one has never heard of.

I applied a couple of times for the inital card during my subprime days but had always been declined. The pre-app checker always told me I've got a 0% chance.

How many searches do you have?

Which CRA is it for them?

Just been on Equifax, got an alert about a Sygma search on 2/9... I'm going to dispute it and see if I can get the whole lot removed! The 13/8 ones were JJB, 27/8 were the Sliver card and 2/9 I have no idea....

    2/9: SYGMA BANK UK

    27/8:
    CREATION FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD
    SYGMA BANK (UK)

    13/8:
    CREATION FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD
    SYGMA BANK (UK)

Just 3? That's not bad. I think I have like 10 or something.

That counts as 5 doesn't it, because Creation and Sygma are seen as different entities? If someone (say Natpest) searches twice in one day it would count as 1 as they use the same name, but these lot don't

And nope I have more, going to have a look now :)

I think one search they do is just an identity search so it won't be seen.

My Sygma statement has just been done, last night I assume, so my statement day is 9th by the look of it

Just got my searches. The last 12 months is 9 when that Barclaycard from last night goes on, but I'm disputing Sygma's latest one so maybe 8. 6 in the last 6 months, so if I wait until 15th March they'd all have vanished. No idea what Experian is like, how long do the ICO take to get back to me!?
  • i apply for jjb card last week and got it and i ve got a ccj from 2007

Well, according to their web-site you need to have a good credit history, no defualts, payment arrears or CCJ's, I have a few missed payments from November last year, on an old bank account being reported, nothing since, no defaults, and no CCJ's and I couldn't get a card, so how does this figure?

Your recent (i.e. within the last 12 months) missed payments? Don't know what onefortheroad's record is like, but if it's been consistently good recently (even with the old CCJ) that would explain the acceptance.

I've only just got one, with 18 months spotless history and no prior defaults etc!
