I'm going to try applying again right now, to see what happens. The only reason I could think why they declined was because I had too many searches.

    Good luck!!!

    Grrrrr.
Sorry, you are not eligible for a change to your overdraft limit. Any existing limit that you have has not been changed.

Like most financial institutions we use credit scoring to help us to decide whether to accept applications for an overdraft. Unfortunately the credit score on your recent application didn't meet our current criteria. For more information regarding credit scoring please click on the credit scoring link on our Overdraft Service page.

Thank you for applying and we are sorry that we can't assist you on this occasion.

    I wonder why?

Do you have an OD with them already? Seems strange cos you have a CC with them. I think NID said it's best to go into branch, but they ask all sorts of questions.

Nope, never had an OD. My nearest branch is 20 something miles away.

I'm sure it'll be because the amount of searches I have, in addition to the amount of debt I'm in. The majority of my debt will be paid off next week anyhow. I'm on the wagon until my searches drop off because I plan on applying for car finance again as soon as my file is up to scratch. Nissan accepted me before so I hope they'll do the same once I'm searchless.

    I want a Nissan Qashqai

£15k. My insurance company gave me a golf for 2 months following my crash. They are amazing cars. I literally fell in love with it.
