Thank you, I couldn't have put it better myself.

And you're absolutely right, Bankruptcy is a fantastic teacher and you will learn so much from it

    Happy days :o

Not a chance. Notice how my credit cards are from companies that search Equifax and not Experian?

If Equifax showed the same data as Experian, then I would still have my Vanquis and Aqua, and probably a Cap One Progress card.

I'd still have the LTSB stuff though as they search Experian and my Experian is accurate to the letter.

You make me laugh izools 'bankruptcy is a fantastic teacher' you make it sound like its all a big laugh when its not,i feel sorry for people who have been bankrupt who's buisness or idea has failed and bankruptcy is the last resort, but for people who just could not be bothered or had no intention of paying money back and still racking up huge debts,if i was the banks i would never let them even through the front door of the bank let alone lend them money.

If that's what you think of me you clearly don't understand the circumstances behind my Bankruptcy.

Post Bankruptcy I sent my ex-mortgage lender a S7 DPA request, and it transpires that the personal banker who suggested £150,000 a suitable amount for me to spend on a house was actually reading a figure under £100,000 from the screen. My responsibility as I signed on the dotted line but for a bank to expect a 19 year old to see through the personal bankers fecade is ludicrous.

I took it very seriously, made every effort with my creditors to come to a less drastic solution, and not that it's any of your business but I am to this day still repaying my debt that was part of my Bankruptcy by way of an Income Payments Agreement.

Your preconceptions, assumptions, and pointing the finger without bothering to get the facts doesn't make you look very smart or worth listening to tbh.

A trash bin would be cleaner than izools experian report.

I have no outstanding adverse and 30 months flawless running so in many respects it is a lot better than other people's.

Again, making assumptions, pointing the finger, and trash-talking other members. Just makes you look like a gobby idiot.

Finally, you need to have a clean credit history, ie, no arrears, defaults, County Court Judgements (CCJs), bankruptcies or Individual Voluntary Agreements (IVAs).

Its nothing to do with me finger pointing or trash-talking other members, its got to do with people coming come on here for advice and fair enough yes you do give some good advice, but from my point of view you come across as look at me ive been bankrupt i know everything.

You can't even get credit in a shop unless they search equifax,if it wont for barclays who ever it was did not report your bankruptcy to equifax you would still be struggling getting a mobile phone..

Yes you do know more about the inside and outs about credit cards and that more than i do,but one thing i know is how to handle money alot more than you.

Christ, all you guys seem to do these days is argue with each other. Whatever happened to that old saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".

Started uni today on another computing course and they asked me if I would also like to study Biology as an additional subject. I thought brilliant, at least there will be 1 thing I'll enjoy studying.
