Got 2 letters from CapQuest today saying debt owed from Littlewoods. Both accounts say Littlewoods with 2 different amounts

The only account I did not pay was almost 10 years ago. Should I send a statue barred letter?

They said as I’m in Scotland they will apply a decree and arrest my wages and on the other they said they are going to send the bailiffs in.

I know the second can't be done as in Scotland but what about the first? Over the last 2 years or so, I have never seen a Littlewoods default and also never had 2 accounts with them.

    They're bluffing, duggie.
The more they hassle and frighten you the more likely you are to pay them and that is what they're after.

Can they still default me? Or are they full of crap.

I have the statue barred letters typed out, should I send them or not even bother wasting the stamps?

    Hello all,

A colleague applied for a capital one card two weeks ago, and was approved. She has bad credit. She encouraged me to apply, and I thought there was no way with my history, but I got approved. Received my card today.:j£200 credit limit. It is a start, and I can use it to rebuild my credit.

This week I thought I would give Acqua a try. I know it is best to leave it a while, as my bank had turned me down for their credit card. Anyway, Acqua said they would let me know in ten days. My colleague said that there was no way I would get it. Came in from work today, and have received an agreement from Acqua that I have to post off. I have no idea what the limit will be.

I did use mine every month so thats perhaps what they look out for. Still would have thought they would have upped yours just incase you did decide to use it for a major purchase to entice you to.

The first few digits of the long string of numbers at the bottom of the signature page, is the limit.

    Well done!

I only got an increase after 6 months on mine and just now 14 months on when I have already decided to ditch the card. Probably better trying to get a few increases on your Vanquis card.
