Like I've already these pieces of information are not my view but views relayed to me by two branch managers and countless team managers on the telephone helpdesk.

But you should know what you have done to cause your risk indicator to rise and CPD to appear

How would the managers know ? they can see your risk indicator and CPD but I doubt that they can see your CRA monthly feed

This is the thing - I know the activity on my credit file since I opened the account shouldn't cause a CPD marker or an insane risk score - I've showed my credit file to the personal bankers and they're confused, too. They just escalate the call to management who make it up as they go along clutching at straws.

I asked what could've caused the risk to jump from 3 to 9 in the space of a few weeks, I was told by two separate helpdesk managers this was due to the presence of a new account on my credit file, reports from fellow members here say otherwise.

Like I say, simply time to acknowledge that LTSB lie to me every which way and stop paying attention.

You do realise that a CPD is basically just the bank saying that they don't wish to offer you any further borrowing at this moment in time.

It's not the end of the world and you are free to move to another bank.:D

In fairness just looking at your utilization of your credit cards would in my opinion raise alarm bells and your risk score.

That I know, too, and am moving to HSBC in April (won't apply sooner due to wanting to be sure of acceptance).

The point isn't that a CPD marker is there, it's that I've been lied to about why by everyone I've spoken to and I'm clearing that up because my passing on that information is making me look stupid here - because of the infidelity of what I've been told.

I don't need or want to borrow from them, but I don't want to be lied to about why I can't, either.

Perhaps Lloyds don't like the information on your Experian file

If they report to Experian they will see this -

No lying took place. And it didn't specifically ask the question, no.

The bankruptcy doesn't appear on my Equifax credit file, it does appear on my Experian credit file, and Barclaycard only search Equifax when I applied as at the time I was a Barclays Bank customer so they didn't use EX, just EQ.

All of the data from one of my previous addresses no longer appears on my Equfax file after they deleted an address link.

The address doesn't need to be provided during applications as it wasn't my last address, but the one prior to that.

Creditors only ask for your current and previous address at most.

With all due respect they don't need to justify the reasons for a CPD.

The decision would have been a commercial decision not a personal one;)

As for banks they are all the same:D

Yeah and I really think we should move on from this LTSB thing. I will never repeat anything they tell me again; it's a waste of everyone's time; and I'm sure this thread has better things to talk about
