I wish! Thanks for the compliment all the same, i'm NID in disguise? You've made my day thanks! I know little when it comes to fighting banks, he is the one I ask! Why would anyone leave with such kudos to then come back as someone new, is that normal behaviour here? He emailed a couple of us and said he wouldnt be back so I doubt he will be.

Anyway back to business. anyone know how long it takes capital one to decline an application? I had a letter from sygma/creation saying go forth and multiply but still waiting on capital one.

Interestingly in my creation finance decline letter they did say they used data from N Hunter and Cifas so I may send a subject access to them and see what it shows.

If you call Capital One, they should be able to tell you.

You should perhaps be a little more positive. You should be asking us how long it'll take for them to accept your application. :j

Will Barclays decline a standard current account application on 40 searches on my file alone? I know they did when I had 55.

How old are the searches? Most lenders will not take much notice of searches which are older than 6 months...

6 are in the last 6 months, 34 are older then that.
