if he did I wonder if izools would compare himself to him then? :D

I wasnt even having a go at him for that, it just seems that he acts like he knows everything but if I recall he's only young and bankrupt. not a great role model to take advice from in my book.

at least stuff that never in doubt posted did add up and was proven on most occassions to be true like the hsbc stuff (i followed that to a tea). didn't sutton9111 follow this advice and get accepted but he has defaults?

izools seems like a leech for want of a better word!
Fully agree that at 24 yrs old or thereabouts and a discharged bankrupt he is not in a position to OFFER expert advice. Anybody can search or indeed google relevant points BUT when you have already made a huge mess of personal finance it doesn't promote confidence :D

onefortheroad - That's a good post, thanks for the info. I don't think I'll try it though, I'll just go the old fashioned way for now and if there's no increase by the 6th of 7th statement, contact them then and see what they say.

I think what got me was when izools was saying he hoped to replace never in doubt, but wouldn't be as defensive. Cheek! I doubt many could replace him for his wealth of knowledge but to name call is not fair, from what i'd seen all he done was spend time here helping people and maybe he got defensive because he knew his stuff so could argue his point till the cows came home lol

Recent exchanges between you two prove that, in addition to his frequent 'rants' about Vanquis and the 'so called' dire service etc. Previous to that Barclays were 'dire' TSB are 'dire'
Maybe it's the actual 'customer' that is 'dire' and not desirable :p

It reminds me of when Rainbow got rid of Geoffrey and replaced Bungle with something that looked quite different :D

I just emailed too and he told me he wouldn't be back. shame, I miss his rants at the banks and collection agents, they made me lough out loud. :o

He also said he wasn't deleting the threads which is a good thing cos I refer to them all the time. when capital one decline me next week i'll have to appeal using his letter  fingers and toes crossed it works!
