I really hope you've got your beautiful baby boy in your arms by the time I write this - but if not, then I hope all goes as smoothly as possible for you, hun.

oh gemma, seems I'm too late. I was going to say that if you can, please put aside the animosity and let your husband be there for you. You know my situation - my ex left me pregnant for another woman. He never asked, not once, if he could be there at the birth and proceeded to deny he was the baby's father for the first 6 months of his life - he's now 11 months. I probably wouldn't have had him at the birth out of...anger, sheer annoyance that he thought he had the right to be there....but I missed him and I wanted him there when it came down to it.

I hope it's all going/gone well and you are all fine. Please PM me if you want to chat at all. The first few days after having my little one were dreadfully lonely ones - I spent two days in hospital watching everyone else with their partners and Mothercare bags - but we are all doing great now and I wouldn't be without him. Neither would my ex - something we are able to finally agree on!

Hope you and Josiah are well, and he's here nice and safe. XXX

  • I have read through your thread and am in shock (like many others!) at your MIL's behaviour!

I truly wish you well and hope you get mummy cuddles soon. x

OMG! I went to bed minutes before you posted GG.

Hope everything went ok, that your ex was a rock with your girls (and kept his eyes off your foo-foo as you wished) and that you and the little one are snuggled up and happy.
