    Best wishes
    If...x

    Thank-you.

Forty minutes to go. Think I've got everything ready (bar the tea). Heart rate is around 150, palms clammy and pterodactyls (rather than butterflies) in my stomach. Hate to think how I'd be feeling had I not had all the info and input from so many on here.

    Thanks again...I'll report back soon.

Well that wasn't bad at all. I wouldn't say the guy was "sympathetic" as some others have but he was polite enough. Asked some fairly tricky questions about specifics of what had happened as long ago as 2001/2 and all points since which were difficult because I just don't remember...but he seemed OK with fairly vague responses and best guesses.
Was very surprised that he made no mention at all of my financial statement. Not a word. Maybe he felt it was reasonable and as all my income is from benefits there was no prospect of an IPA so it wasn't neccessary.
The thing that he seemed most concerned about was whether I'd ever taken any credit with no intention or prospect of paying it back; I think I made him understand that it was never the case.

Whole thing took only twenty-five minutes.

Still no sense of relief....hopefully it'll come. Just realised that my BR date (and provisional discharge) is my late dad's birthday, not struck me before...maybe he's looking after me.

Hello Mike, we all have different emotions and there is no right or wrong way to feel......but the relief will come. I'm pleased it went well and was not as bad as you feared.

I think he is looking out for you lol x

Can I join please? Off to Court tomorrow, 9.30 appointment

One question - what should I wear (I know, clothes) - should I be super smart suited and booted, in work clothes (smart trousers/skirt and nice top) or in (smart) jeans and t-shirt?
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Went to Birmingham office today for my interview with the OR.I was really nervous but actually it went great. All the staff were very friendly and the OR was lovely. She put me at my ease and was really chatty and friendly. We spent 2 hours going through my papers and she pretty well said there would be no IPA.I left feeling that I really was free at last. Now I can start my new debt free life.Who wants credit. Its cash for me and control over my finances from now on.Brilliant!!:T:j

great news that it went well for you. lets hope they are nice to us!

DH got a call from the OR today for our telephone interview on friday. The guy is allowing us to have it together which has made me feel more comfortable.

we received letters from the court today confirming BR. Is it standard for it to say contact the OR's number at the bottom of the letter once the letter is received? im assuming this would be if we have not had an appointment witht the OR???
