Just had the fifth (of eight) creditors collection departments on the phone so I'm hoping the letters will slow down now.

It was Capital One and the woman (despite finding proof online and quoting my date/court to me) told me that I needed to instruct the OR to send them a copy of the order. I told her it wasn't my place to instruct him to do anything and it was actually the other way around. She said her department would continue to call me until they had their copy so I just said that I'd give them to say answers that I'd given her and goodnight.

The first one who's been a bit arsey but I can live with it.

  • Went to Birmingham office today for my interview with the OR.I was really nervous but actually it went great. All the staff were very friendly and the OR was lovely. She put me at my ease and was really chatty and friendly. We spent 2 hours going through my papers and she pretty well said there would be no IPA.I left feeling that I really was free at last. Now I can start my new debt free life.Who wants credit. Its cash for me and control over my finances from now on.Brilliant!!:T:j

Twenty and a half hours until my interview and I'm feeling the strain.

Deep breath's and you willl be fine Mike. Also before the call have a big mug of tea ready or a bottle of water, and while they are writing things down you can have sips of tea/water, so you don't feel you have to fill in the pauses. And if you don’t know the answer to a question just say so. Also have a list with all questions ‘you’ want to ask.
Let us know how you get on.
