  • Hanky3, I would recommend you keep on top of contact with the OR, I declared bankruptcy in March 2009 and was discharged in Sept 2001, only trouble was the OR forgot to inform me of this until April/May 2010 some 8 months after my early discharge and 2 months after the natural 12 months period.
    As you say they are very busy, but I did find them very helpful and understanding, so if you have any worries or questions, give them a ring. I think they will look favourably towards people who are keen to sort their affairs out correctly

  • well i got my paperwork from OR office. they dont need to do an interview, so i am happy as i was nervous about that! sent my paperwork back, and had a call from OR re soemthing on my form! so feeling better abotu the process. i was so worried about being judged, etc by people at court, OR, etc but everyone has been great so far|!

    Am really wanting to save as much as i can by budgeting tightly and maybe ebay selling. things are going to be hard with mot, car tax and insurance all due in oct and nov:eek:
