Does anyone know if we were ti start having to pay an IPA how long is that for, and do you get discarged after the year still???
thanks :rotfl:
IPA's last for three years.....but I'm not sure whether that would be three years from the date of BR or three years from the date that it starts. Someone will. You would still be discharged after the year though.
Glad it all went well for you!“Procrastination is my middle name....well it would be if I could be ar**d to contact Deed Poll."0 -

            Giving a quickBump!
Six weeks in and all I've heard is that the OR has no interest in my car or my (pitifully small) pension fund.
All going OK so far and getting used to the fact that when the money runs out it has run out....eg had £30 til Friday this morning so went to the supermarket and bought all we need. £6 left for emergencies/oversights.
Daughter came home from Kos yesterday and gave us a litre of Metaxa which is a bit of a luxury .
Still a little nervy at times about what the future holds and what the OR might come up with to surprise me but life is a whole lot simpler already.
Even (as I mentioned elsewhere) had a short camping holiday.
The person I feel most sorry for is my son who, on paper, has accumulated about £75 worth of pocket money but as I "look after it" he's not been able to spend it. Won't be long now though 'til I can let him have a bit and he's been very understanding bless him.
