Crazy busy at work this week...
DD was surprisingly quiet at first, which freaked me out, but after a little while she started to ask lots of questions and get a lot more animated! She is now really excited, can't wait til June, asking endless questions and telling all her friends / teachers! She has also started kissing my tummy and saying 'love you baby bean', which is sooo sweet!
Anyway, before I collapse, the new mortgage balance as at 01/12 is £176,080.52 :j! Spitting distance of £175K - we WILL get there!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

£20.89 OP today from tcb/ama$on sales
.
Have another book sale to post, and also need to call NHS re: my prepaid certificate, see if I can cancel as I'm pregnant.
Also found a schwim bottle on the way to work, so that's 50p saved.

Thanks eg - my journey to work incorporates about 40 minutes of walking (minimum) each way, but sadly some expensive public transport too!
Last week was crazy, 3 work nights out , and then late night with girlie friends on Saturday. I did have a sleep in the car on the way home last night, and a friend cancelled on me tonight which I am delighted about as it means I can sit in my fleece onesie and watch the Apprentice final, before an early night. Yay! I do love my friends, but right now I love my down time too!
I have my first scan tomorrow _pale_:D:j! Have several blood tests to look forward to, but then get to see baby bean for the first time! A little nervous, but hoping everything will be ok.
£400 OP made today from housemate's rent, and another Ama$on sale posted. Still haven't got round to phoning the NHS though!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Enjoy the scan and seeing bean for the first time! I cried my head off for about 2 hours afterwards when I first saw Gherkin
:)

Thanks both, the scan went really well. I barely slept the night before with nerves. The heartbeat was strong, all limbs etc present and correct, and the bean was kicking like crazy! It was quite uncomfortable for me though - had to lie in various ways and she was really pushing the scanner in. Read in my notes later that the view was partially obscured due to intestinal wind
, so that might be why! Had a set of blood tests before, and a set afterwards (which I HATE!), but am very relieved to have some reassurance after all these many weeks. OH thought it was magical (I am a heartless woman Courgette as I did not cry at all!)
£18.34 OP yesterday from Ama$on sales. Am planning to dip into savings by a hundred quid or so just to reach the £175K target.
Last 2 days at work and then have 11 days off! Yay!! :j! Am soo tired still...Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Sp pleased mw, its a relief isn't it! Hope that the next 2 days pass quickly so you can rest!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Right, home now and have made some rocky roads for DD to take in to share with school staff. She is decorating a celebrations tin so they know it is homemade treats and not more celebrations!
After a call to FD, worked out don't need to dip into savings and will definitely hit the £175K target at the end of the month :j:j:j!
If I can get my act together I need to have a bath and get prepped for staff party tomorrow (plan to have bare legs which at the moment would  people on the other side of the road, let alone in the same room :rotfl:!). Also want to bake some mince pies to take up to OH's family get together on Saturday. And work out what the heck I can eat for dinner - OH is out tonight and I've been relying on him like crazy to cook for me. I have terrible wind at the minute, it is making me feel very queasy, but don't know what causes it or how to get rid of it. It is more like trapped wind, although am burping quite a lot when it gets really bad.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89
