How lovely you have had your scan, I was so much more nervous on my second pregnancy and I have no idea why! Did they change your dates at all, it's always nice to be put forward a little bit!
I have recently applied to FD and probably wouldn't have if it wasn't for your diary and your post on mine. I have been accepted for their 2 year tracker BR+2.09% so thank you for that.
Enjoy your Christmas break and time with DH and DD. This time of year is so magical.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Hello all - interesting CathT you were more nervous with your second, I definitely am. I was thinking it might be because I am almost 10 years older and have had more friends have problems, but you don't have a big gap between yours so that might disprove that theory. Really pleased to hear about the remortgage, and glad also that FD are being just as charming to you as to me. Just realised I probably could have referred you, I think both me and the other person get money. Not that MSE am I
! Anyone else reading, just PM me if you're considering remortgaging to them.
Thanks for the good wishes, and hope you also have a great break SSS.
Hello trix-a-belle, and welcome. I trust you haven't read the whole diary, that really would be ! and thanks for the compliment, I am not trying to be modest but I always feel like I haven't OPed enough.
On hols til after xmas :j:j:j
Yesterday saw OH's family, one couple cooked a lovely 3 course dinner, preceded by a bracing walk. We told them our news - all were very pleased, if a little underwhelmed, at least to begin with. Today we took OH's DD and stepmum out for lunch, a very nice old pub in hertfordshire with a good roast, a roaring fire, and teeming with dogs and babies. (Won't say the price but we won't be eating out for a month or two now :rotfl:!). Again, pleased for us, if quietly pleased.
Very tired after all this socialising, planning to watch final episodes of the killing and collapse! Tomorrow friend is taking me and DD out to a tour of the CBBC studio as a Xmas treat :T:T, DD doesn't know yet so it will be a wonderful surprise for her. We are planning a xmas drinks/nibbles at ours session on tuesday evening which will be for about 22 people, so have a bit of work to do there too. I may have to come back and do a list in a bit :rotfl:.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Not exactly sure why I was so nervous, maybe because already having one child was more aware of what little miracles babies are.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

That all sounds lovely! I suppose the 'underwhelmed' vib is just because you have been bursting with the news!! I hope dd enjoys the tour, sounds fab.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Nipping on to record a £4.78 OP today from tcb and Ama$on.
Party went well, and now it is in the open that I am pregnant, so yay! I can move on.
I am coming down with something though and feel terrible, had to cancel plans for dinner tonight, and can't get it together to do much but browse internet. Feel really dizzy and foggy headed, and even though I know my local charity shop is selling clothes for £1 i can't bring myself to leave the house. I must be ill!!!!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89
