I would hate t think I have missed out of the above grants by a whisker.
Does any1 know when these come in to force and when I would have t be pregnant by to qualify.
Bad luck on the baby grants, but literacy classes should be free
The words 'are', 'our', 'to' and 'anyone' shouldn't be so hard to learn

And before you all jump to your presumptions which is a joke!
I said we were planning r next child anyway regardless of benefits recieved.
But who would be the fool if I missed out on these benefits by a month so no I will still have a child if I dont recieve these benefits thank you very much.
We both work very hard my partner 50+ hrs and me part time to look after my child already.
I thought this forum was for advice and not critism sorry for asking you guys
Then surely you wouldn't qualify for the Maternity grant anyway? All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -

LOL do you know how easy it is to get SS, I know loads of people in my ANC getting it who work and a good wage too. You only have to qualify for just over the family element.0 -

Perfectly decent question. Staceydaisey don't take any heed to this lot - most of them are trolls who need to get a life.
All those posts and hardly any information. Most of these posters need to be reported and banned imho.A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

I have no idea how easy it is to claim the maternity grant. Hence why I asked the question.
I assumed that two wages would exclude you.All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -

Nope it's dead easy to get you only have to getting more than the basic family element which goes up quite high I believe until it tapers off.0 -

I must be thinking of something else then. I thought that if you qualified for SMP (which I'm also assuming you do?) that you can't get the maternity grant? All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0
